After a few trial and errors with character assigning, and the insight of ExoAxel (thanks friendo), I present to you the final assignment for Reika—the Goddess of love and beauty herself, Aphrodite!
So I know the past drawings have been full-body pieces, but I saw this pose and it fit my vision too perfectly to be ignored. Given her flirty personality, her enjoyment of things makeup/fashion, and her love for love (sometimes coming on a little strong, but meaning well~) my only question is why I didn't have this for my original idea XD
Plus, Aphrodite also has some history as a war goddess (queen energy), and given that Reika's very skilled in combat I thought it fit even more :D
If you're wondering why I gave her the seashell compact mirror, it's actually because Aphrodite was born from the sea (I can't remember the exact details but I know it has something to do with that) so when I think of her, I also think of seashells (that's also why she's wearing a couple of pearl rings).
For this one I really went all out with the accessories, to emphasize her physical beauty and femininity, and made her usual makeup a little bolder :)
There's a lot of warm colors in this drawing, but what else should we expect from the goddess of love~
Also the hair shading was a pain in the butt lolz but I hope it was worth it
Now fellow EPIC the musical enthusiasts might be wondering, "But Melody, Aphrodite was willing to 'let [Odysseus] rot' in God Games!" Well, to this I say that while she may be our favorite kind sister figure, she can quickly turn off the charm if, say, a demon starts wreaking havoc everywhere.
...let it be known that she would never do that to the character I've chosen to portray Odysseus (who you'll see later on :>) XD
