Well, if you guys thought my princess tutu obsession has died down, you'd be 100% in the wrong my doods XD
I learned quite a bit about the swan lake ballet through my research into the show, and I can honestly say it's one of my favorite ballets now. One of my favorite dances in it is the dying swan, so I drew my girl Sara doing a rather solemn performance of it. The idea is that it's a dream she has during a near death experience, since swan lake was also her mother's favorite ballet to perform.
Since I actually used a real person performing the dance as a reference, I did have a wee bit of trouble getting it to look right, but I think the end result is at least passable XD
I might've replaced her red ribbons with feather hairpieces, but like I said before, she always wears her red slippers/pointe shoes no matter the dance.
I'm not sure if my idea is coming off the way it sounds in my head, but hopefully there's a general gist there XD
