Book Of Male Reader One-Shots:

Where there is Light there is Darkness.

A/n: I've recently come across a good story on Webtoon called Eleceed, it's hilarious and action packed. So I wanted to try a few oneshots with it. Here's the first. Also I suggest you read the webtoon first before reading this oneshot.

Jiwoo Seo's POV:

I collapsed on the ground exhausted, crawling back towards Wooin who was a crumpled heap on the floor as his clothes were covered in burns and blood.

"Hehe! Not fast enough were you?", the younger Klein brother asked as his wild eyes peered through his long red hair as balls of flames began to appear around him highlighting his evil grin.

"This is what you get for getting in the way!", he shouted as the balls flew towards us. I closed my eyes shut waiting for the immense heat but it never came. Instead of a bright orange light it was as if I was covered in darkness, yet it was a familiar darkness.

Opening my eyes I was face to face with a familiar pitch black armoured knight with a billowing cape, "Igris?", I asked and the knight nodded before turning to the Klein brother.

"What the hell is that? I thought your gift was speed?", he questioned as Igris stepped closer to the brother and expertly dodged another volley of fire balls until they were face to face.

The Klein brother whimpered in fear as he looked up at the towering black knight who's glowing blue emotionless eyes looked back. The Klein brother stepped back, tripping over his feet and falling to the floor unable to peel his eyes from the knight.

Igris, on the other hand, grabbed the brother by his face with one hand before suddenly raising his body by his head and suddenly slamming it into the ground. This happened a few times until he suddenly stopped halfway and dropped his victim's limp body as it made a large thud. He then walked over to me and sunk into the ground leaving behind a small slip of paper.

Cautiously I picked up the note and read it silently, "He's coming back.", I smiled at the news. Before putting the note in my pocket and limping over to Wooin.

"Jiwoo, how do you know that knight?", the voice of Sir Kayden asked as he walked over to me as his cat paws made small impressions on the dirt ground.

"Umm, it's kind of difficult to explain.", I replied with a smile but I noticed that Sir Kayden seemed rather anxious from seeing Igris.

I wonder why......

Y/n's POV:

I'm finally back, I smile as I stand on one of the many high buildings in the city. Looking over the bustling crowds and flashing lights below, as they mirror the starry night sky. I hear the wind blow behind me followed by light steps.

"I've heard about you. Seems like Shinhwa has a real powerhouse for a leader.", I spoke as I turned to face the Chairwoman of Shinhwa, Jiyoung Yoo, she's quite beautiful but she kept her emotionless, analytical gaze at me.

"Why are you here? Mr L/n.", she asked. I could tell she was tense, well of course she was.

"I've heard a few interesting things, not only about Kayden break being here...", I paused as I watched her reaction, "but it seems like everything is happening round here. So I thought I'd stay, help out my family. You know be a good brother and all that.", this of course had alerted her.

"Brother?", she asked.

"Yeah, well, adopted brother but that's quite obvious when you compare the two of us.", I joked Jiyoung, however, was not amused as she stayed still with her arms crossed like a serious statue.

"You'll see.", I winked before using my ability to sink into my shadow and teleport away.

I reappeared in front of my brother's home, the same as ever, I couldn't help but smile at the fond memories I had of this place. As I walked through the gate and up the steps to the door I paused, I wonder if he knows, I thought to myself before I ultimately knocked on the door.

"Coming!", I heard the voice of my brother as well as the hurried steps before the door finally opened.

"Y/n! You're back!", Jiwoo spoke in his excited and upbeat tone as he welcomed me inside.

"I'm home. Looks like we have a few more members in the house?", I noted as I scanned the living room taking notice of the three kittens, one black, one brown with stripes and one black and white. Then the grey and black striped cat who seemed to be very cautious of me and finally a humongous fat cat sat almost terrified on the sofa not daring to look away from me.

"Looks like you've finally found out you were an awakened one huh?", I asked with a smile as I sat on the sofa allowing the kittens to come to me before I approached them.

"Yeah, I've met some really nice people especially from the Shinhwa group and I've made a friend too.", he told me.

"I'm glad. Although, Igris has told me I wanted to check first.", I mentioned my shadow soldier, "I would have come earlier but... never mind.", I stopped myself he doesn't need to know everything about my world yet.

For the rest of the night we relaxed and spoke, Jiwoo told me all about how he made friends with a boy named Wooin and then how he met Jisuk, the younger brother of Jiyoung, until eventually we went to bed. My room was untouched apart from a bit of cleaning everything was where is used to be.

I smiled at a photo beside my bed, it held a photo of Igris holding Jiwoo on his shoulders the latter giving the brightest smile in the world. I laid on my bed and soon enough the abyss took me as I fell into a deep sleep.

It's now been a few days since I arrived back home and Jiwoo returned to school the day after, so here I am at home caring for the kittens while he is at school. 

"How do you know Jiwoo?", the voice of Kayden Break spoke from the obese cat that glared at me from the sofa.

"If you want the answer try and win in a fight against me.", I returned with a smirk as the cat let out an angered, "Tsk", his small paws were shaking but I knew it wasn't out of anger.

"Why a fat cat?", I spoke out of the blue as the grey and black striped cat was purring on my lap as I pet him.

"It was the first thing I could find."

"And now you're stuck. Only being able to turn back through the use of a ton of energy.", I added.

"Yeah, that too."

"Ha! I suppose the 'Great' Kayden Break can only amount to this.", I gestured to his new fat form.

He merely glared at me but when I returned it with a glare of my own he quickly turned away.

"Master! The Union has encountered one of your soldiers, they request to meet with you.", the crackled voice of Beru spoke to me through my ability.

"Hmm. Fine.", I said as I then turn to Kayden slouched on the sofa, " I have to go but tell Jiwoo I should be back soon.", and without waiting for a reply I sunk into my shadow and once again teleported away.

A/n: Finished. Sorry for not posting anything for a while but I've hit a bit of a block. You know personal life stuff getting in the way etcetera. Been reading WEBTOON Eleceed so I might write a few of those for now before going to my other books and drawing my Avatar cover.
