Pov Sage

I walk to the auditorium together with Arya, my best friend. She is my best friend but Meri is a slightly better best friend, but don't tell Arya that.

Well, I've known Meri for a lot longer, but I can't live without Arya either.

"Hey Sage," I hear Meri call from the other side of the hallway.

There was a girl walking with him as usual. He may be the biggest player in school, but he is my best friend.

He pushes the girl aside and walks towards me. The girl looks at me bitchy and I just have to laugh.

"I'll borrow it for a moment," Meri says to Arya, who nods with a smile.

Meri throws me over his shoulder.

"We're going to eat something," he says determinedly as he walks to the canteen.

"Pizza!" I shout happily and raise my arms in the air.

Meri laughs.

"Of course we'll have pizza," he laughs.

"Yes!" I shout cheerfully.

He puts me back on the ground.

"Which one do you want?" he asks, pointing to the pizza in the canteen shop.

"You still have to ask that," I laugh.

He chuckles and says to Clara the woman behind the counter.

"A Hawaiian pizza," he says.

The woman nods and hands one to us. Meri pays and together we walk to a table.

When Arya has gotten food, she joins us. I'll grab a piece of pizza. Before I can take a bite, Meri snatches the piece of pizza from my hands and takes a bite herself.

"Hey, have your own pizza," I laugh.

"This one is much better," he says with his mouth full.

I try to push him off his chair and I really fail. Meri looks at me with his 'are you serious' look, to which I nod and laugh.

"Are you tickled to death?" he says, dead serious.

Arya bursts out laughing, while I try to hold it in. Meri suddenly starts tickling me, which makes me laugh very loudly and the whole auditorium looks at me strangely. Meri stops laughing and then looks around the auditorium very innocently. I poke him in the side, laughing.

"You two can never act normal, can you," Arya laughs.

"Nope," I chuckle.

"What are you talking about? I'm very normal," Meri says in a gay voice.

I have nothing against gays, but the way Meri talks about them it sounds very funny. I start laughing again, which wasn't the best idea because I had a drink in my mouth and all the drink is flying all over Meri.

He looks at me with raised eyebrows, smiling.

"Oh oh he's up to something," Arya laughs, when she sees him start to grin slightly.

"He certainly is. Shall we start running already?" I whisper to Arya.

She nods. We are already going to sit in our flight position.

"Three... two... one...," Arya says and we start running.

"Wait, the pizza!" I shout and run back.

Again not my smartest plan. Meri stood there with a bottle of water in his hand and poured it over me in one go.

"Ahh, are you wet now," Meri laughs.

Arya comes running back and as soon as she sees us she starts laughing again.

I have nice friends...

The bell rings and everyone walks back to their classrooms.

"Well, I couldn't eat my pizza," I whine.

Meri laughs and puts an arm around my neck.

"I'll give you another one," he laughs and kisses my cheek.

I clap my hands happily.

"Maybe you have something to explain," Arya says and looks at us with a grin.

"Just friends," I laugh.

"Best friends," Meri corrects me, laughing.

"What he says," I chuckle.

"Sure;" Arya laughs and walks past us to her classroom.
