"I'm home!!" I shout.

I walk inside. My mother sits on the couch and looks at me angrily. Oh oh...

"Why does the school think Jet Ante died in a tragic accident," she growls.

"We were late and then we told her and she believed us," I say.

"The school just wishes me strength with our loss. I didn't say it was a lien," she begins. Yes!

"But you're under house arrest!" she adds.

"Go to your room and learn!" she says and walks towards the kitchen.

I sigh and walk upstairs again. I walk into my room. Through the window I see Mayc pressing his lips to those of another girl.

Haha she doesn't know what she's getting into.

Meri sees me. He pushes her onto the bed and gestures to me with his mouth.

"Slut" and points at the girl. I chuckle and close my curtains. I don't need to see the rest. I lie down on my bed. I grab my economics book and start studying. My phones ringtone is going off.

'Arya' is written on the screen.

I answer and put gem next to me, on speaker, so that I can continue studying in the meantime.

"Hey Arya," I say.

"Okay, listen. So I just walked through the supermarket, because mom thought I should go get brook. Then I didn't pay attention and I bumped into the most handsome boy in the world!!" she shouts enthusiastically into the phone.

"Arya, you literally say that to every boy you see," I chuckle.

"Yes, but this time it is really different. His name is Braxton, he has brown hair, he has freckles and is very muscular and and" she says.

"And?" I chuckle.

"I have a date," she says softly.

I can almost hear her smiling over the phone. She's had boyfriends before, but they were all jerks. Hopefully that won't be the case this time.

"Nice!" I shout.

I'm really happy for her. I had a boyfriend once, but I've never kissed or anything.

"Can you help me with my outfit? It's already tonight," she says, slightly panicking.

"I'm under house arrest," I sigh.

"Okay, Sage, that's really the worst excuse I've ever heard from you," she laughs on the other end of the line.

"But this time I'm serious Arya. You know Meri and I were late this morning, right?" I say.

"Yes, your story that your aunt was dead. Haha every teacher just fell for it," she laughs.

"Yes, but school called Mom to offer her condolences...," I sigh.

"Oh, yes, now I believe you. Can I come to you then?" Arya asks.

"I don't think Mom will let anyone in. The only way to get in is through the tree next to my room, but then you have to climb," I say. Arya is afraid of heights so she doesn't do that. "Uh uh, didn't think it would last long," she says.

"Face time, wait, I'll be there for you," she says.

"Yo" I say and hang up.

Within a few seconds, Arya calls again.

"It's me again," she laughs as soon as I answer.

"Okay, what should I wear?" she asks, turning her camera towards her wardrobe.

I sit up and look at the clothes.

"Where are you going?" I ask her.

"That new restaurant. What was it called again? Eat Street. Yes, it was," she says.

"Okay, then I would wear those black pants," she says.

"The one with the holes in it?" she asks.

I nod.

"Yes, and then that black shirt and brown jacket," I say.

After she has changed, she takes a look in the mirror.

"And?" she asks nervously.

"Beautiful," I chuckle.

I hear her doorbell ringing.

"Thanks Sage. I'll let you know later how it went. Bye," she says, smiling.

"Bye," I chuckle and hang up.

I pick up my economics books again and continue with the great learning material of the beautiful book...
