Pov Sage

I walk out of the changing room and wrap my towel around my arm. I look to my left where a loud banging is coming from. Meri slams into the contents of his locker and then slams the door shut. It falls open again and his bag falls to the floor. He sighs in frustration and runs a hand through his hair. I chuckle and walk towards him. I just always stuff. Everything always flickers out for me too, but boo.

After 500 failed attempts to close the locker with our belongings, it is finally closed. Thank God! That took a long time. I walk past the showers to the pool. Yes, I never shower beforehand, always afterwards. Ooh now I'm really bad. Oh wait, no, not.

"No Meri!" I laugh as he throws me over his shoulder and runs towards the pool. He continues to run stubbornly. "3...2...1... Bomb!!" Meri shouts. I quickly take a breath and not much later I feel the water against my face. Meri lets me go. I come up spluttering. I blink a few times. I forgot to close them. Very handy. Some people can swim underwater with their eyes open, but I really can't. Not nearly yet.

"Just come," Meri laughs. The pool waves. They are everywhere, there is no way out. And then also in the part of the pool where I can't stand. "No, I'm still standing with my toes on the ground!" I shout to Meri, laughing. He swims back to where he was standing. "No Meri" I laugh and push him on the shoulder. "I can let you go too," he laughs. "You don't do that," I try, but it doesn't come out completely confidently. "Let's make a bet," he grins. Oopsie what the hell did I say... "No" I say and smile very fake innocently. He shakes his head, laughing. The waves stop. He swims to shore and sits on the edge. I climb, oh well, I better put that last one in brackets. I make a strange spastic rolling movement, which gets me out of the pool, but my leg hurts. Ouch... "That went well," I mumble. "I see," Meri grins.

"We're going down that slide!" I shout panting after we have run up 500 steps. I point to the yellow slide. "Yoo" Meri laughs and pulls out a kind of mini air cushion from the rack that the two of you have to sit on. I run with what energy I have left to the slide. There's a whole line. No, I don't like waiting at all. I sigh and go to the back of the line. "Sage?" I hear Meri calling. I look to the right. He looks around searching. "Here in the queue egg!" I shout. A few people look at me strangely. Never seen a live egg before? Look, there he is! This egg happens to be called Meri.

"Sage, you're not seriously going to stand in line," Meri sighs as soon as he stands next to me. "Why not?" I ask. He grabs my wrist and pulls me towards the slide itself. "Fuck off," Meri snaps at those at the front of the line. 2 little boys run away scared. "Meri!" I hissed. "What can we do now?" he laughs. He throws the mini air cushion on the slide. "Quickly sit down then," he laughs. I do as he says and jump into the bandwagon. Meri also jumps on the mini air cushion.

"Aaahhh!!" I shout laughing as the mini air cushion races through the slide. Meri laughs and pushes us off the slide with his hands. We're gaining even more momentum. I hold on tighter to the handles but still scream while laughing.

Light can be seen at the end of the slide. We are almost there. 3...2...1... Splash! I do a nice half somersault and fall into the small pool at the end of the slide. When I come back up I see Meri laughing on the mini air cushion. "It's difficult just to stay on the tape," he laughs. "Yes, very difficult," I laugh and cross my arms stubbornly.

I put some shampoo in my hair. I make my hair into a kind of strange pyramid that really only stays straight for 2 seconds. I chuckle and rinse out the shampoo. Aaahh no shampoo in my eyes! I'm blind! I'll never be able to see anything again. Sob sob... I'm just going to be a mummy. I wave my arms around awkwardly. "You really can't do anything at all," I hear Meri say laughing and not much later I feel a towel against my face. Yes, I have my sight back! Yes!
