Pov Sage

Before I knew it, Meri's lips were glued to mine. My eyes shoot wide open. What does he want now?

I sigh deeply within myself. Meri lets go of me and looks straight at me. I do not know why. I think I haven't seen him for too long, but I pull him towards me and press my lips back to his. He is a bit surprised, but quickly recovers. He picks me up and puts me on his lap. I run my hands through his hair. He moans softly. I chuckle and he bites my lip in revenge. Now I'm the one who can't suppress a soft moan.

He moves some hair away from my shoulder and leaves a trail of kisses on my neck. I get goosebumps in one place. I feel Meri grinning against my skin. His warm breath tickles my neck. He presses his lips right on that spot again. He sucks on it gently and again I can't suppress a soft moan.

I push him and he looks at me laughing or grinning. It's kind of a combination of them. He really has a beautiful smile. I really missed that one.

I chuckle softly and run my hands to his shirt. I take it off.

"Sure?" Meri asks again.

A flicker of concern flashes in his eyes.

I smile and nod. He presses his lips to mine again. I run my hands over his six-pack. He watches my every move. I push him back a bit on the couch. He lies down quietly. I press kisses to every cube of his six-pack.

At the last block I hear him mumbling.

"Fuck Sage," added with a heavy sigh.

He pulls me up and presses his lips to mine again. I hear a soft crackle. Oh well, it will.

Not much later I hear a voice angrily shouting my name.

Dylan...

I turn around suddenly. Like I've been stung by dozens of bees at once.

I let go of Meri and quickly back away. Meri picks up his shirt from the floor and puts it back on.

Dylan charges at Meri.

"It's always you too. First Olivia and now Sage!" Dylan shouts and pushes Meri against the wall.

Dylan starts hitting Meri like crazy. Meri tries to dodge the blows, which doesn't always seem to be the case, sometimes causing a loud moan to come out of his mouth. I put my hands over my mouth in shock.

I catch Meri's eye. He can't go anywhere. Dylan holds his hands and leans against his legs. He is standing against a cupboard and a wall.

Meri gestures help with his mouth. I'm startled from my thoughts. I sigh deeply and jump on Dylan's back and hold my hands over his eyes. Dylan takes a few steps aside, confused.

Then he pushes me hard off his back. I hit the ground with a thud. Meri's face appears above me in a few seconds.

"Are you OK?" he asks quickly and scans my body.

I smile and nod.

That smile immediately disappears within a few seconds when I hear a gun being loaded.

I almost fly towards the wall. As far away from Dylan as possible.

Dylan keeps it focused on Meri.

"Why fucking again?" he calls to Meri.

"Dylan. I didn't know," Meri begins cautiously.

"I wasn't the only one who was wrong," Meri adds.

Dylan pushes the gun in Meri's direction even more menacingly.

I finally understand why Meri was so blunt. He didn't want this to happen.

Dylan and Meri really do have a history together. That must not have been a good time.

Suddenly the gun is pointed at me. I immediately swallow in fear.

"Leave her the fuck out of it!" Meri shouts angrily.

He squeezes his hands angrily.

"What are you going to do then," Dylan laughs.

Dylan walks over to me and puts his arm around my throat and points the gun at Meri.

"One wrong word and you'll both die," Dylan hisses.

And I kept thinking that he was the creepy one who might like me after all. Since Meri was and is always with Bertha.

"Dylan fucking think. Okay, if you do this. Then we're dead and you have your way. You'll just be in jail for the rest of your life," Meri hisses.

You can hardly hear the scared tremor in his voice, but I've known him long enough for that.

"The revenge you want to take on me is of no use to you, it only helps yourself," Meri tries and takes a step closer.

Dylan presses the gun to my temple and tightens his arm around my throat.

Just then, Meri catches my eye and a fearful tear rolls down my cheek.
