"Okay, so then me and mom walked down the street and" I say, but then something happens that strikes me. A girl walks by. She is beautiful. But really beautiful. I look at Meri. He has his full attention on me. He seems to have isolated everything else. "What?" he asks when I don't continue telling my story. "Okay, that's new," I smile at Meri. He looks at me questioningly. "a girl walked by. And you didn't even look at her" I chuckle. "You're here," he smiles. I look at him a bit surprised but nod." "Well then. You're definitely much nicer than that chick who walked past," he says. "I never expected to hear something like that come out of your mouth," I chuckle and walk with him through the school hallway. "How so?" he asks. "Well, you're the one who wants every knife in your bed. For 1 night and then no more. A girl walks by. You're not even looking," I say. He chuckles. "That's true," he chuckles. I laugh and shake my head. "I wouldn't let you walk," I hear another boy's voice close to me. I startle and quickly step aside. A shiver runs through me. Not a nice one. I swallow. Meri sees it happen. He walks up to the boy and pushes the boy against the wall. "Don't you ever dare say something like that about her again. She's already my girlfriend so fuck off" Meri says angrily to him. The boy nods scared. Here we go again. The whole I'm his girlfriend or I'm her boyfriend act has started again. I nod affirmatively to the boy and wrap my arms around Meri's waist. Meri immediately relaxes a little. "Sorry man, I didn't know she was already taken," the boy says apologetically. Meri lets him go. "Apologize to her," Meri says. If the boy remains silent he hits him on the back of the head. "Sorry Sage. He's pissed off, you don't have to worry about him anymore. Still," he says and looks at the boy. "Uh, yeah, sorry," the boy says and quickly walks away. Okay that was weird.

Meri has been acting strange all day. He doesn't act like the school player. What he normally always does. "Meri please stop it. I don't know what you're doing. But you act differently and I don't know why," I sigh. He turns to me and looks at me for a few seconds. He turns his head slightly. Then he turns around. He seems to have decided something. Behind him is a classroom. He looks in through the window and feels the door handle. He opens the door and pulls me inside. He closes the door behind me. "Meri" I sigh. He's really secretive. "Stop it. With that mysterious not you thing" I say. "Okay," he mumbles and shrugs. He pushes me against the classroom door. Then something happens that I, well. Not exactly expected. He places his hands on the door next to me. He crushes my body with his. He slowly comes closer. Oh dear, another garden shed moment? His face comes closer to mine. His eyes dart back and forth intensely from my lips to my eyes. I also can't resist looking at his lips and back at his eyes. Would it really happen now? My first kiss? I mean he's already pretty close. Very close. Sure. He plants his lips on mine.
