Pov Sage

Meri and I are sitting on Meri's bed. We were watching a movie at his place so Mom wouldn't hear it. We went to him through the tree. It's half past two and I'm quite tired. I rest my head on Meri's shoulder. My eyes are getting heavier. "It's good that you have pajamas here," Meri chuckles when he sees me. I nod, half asleep. He turns off the TV. "Can you still get changed?" he asks. Actually, I'm too tired to get up. "You do it," I sigh tiredly. Meri grins but I ignore it. He walks to the wardrobe and takes my pajamas. In other words, a much larger shirt from him. I fall on the bed and close my eyes for a few seconds. Meri starts taking off my shoes. He undoes the button of my pants and takes them off as well with the same grin on his face. "Then cooperate," Meri laughs as he tries to take off my blouse. I remain stubborn. He lifts me up a bit and then pulls it off. My belly button sweater also follows and Meri pulls his shirt over my head. I smile gratefully and crawl under the covers. Meri also changes clothes and then lies down next to me. He closes his arms around me. He presses a kiss to my hair. "Sleep well Sage" I hear him mumble before I fall asleep.

I wake up yawning. "Meri wake up!!" I hear his mother calling from the other side of the door. He's still sleeping. "MERI!" she shouts and opens the door. "Oww, hi Sage, good morning," she says, smiling. How can someone change their mood so quickly. "Hi Mrs. Brown" I say and yawn once. "Can you wake him up?" she sighs. I look at Meri. He continues to sleep peacefully. I get an idea. A slight grin graces my lips. I start screaming loudly in his ear. He wakes up with a start and then rubs his ear painfully. "Did I have to, Sage," he whines. I chuckle and nod. "Yes, hurry up, you have to go to school soon." She says and walks out of the room.

"SAGE WAKE UP!!" I hear my mother screaming. Jeez, she shouts loudly. "Go ahead, I'll come pick you up in a minute," he chuckles. I nod and quickly climb through the window, through the tree to my room. I plop down on the bed and rub my eyes, apparently tired. Perfect timing. My mother opens the door. "Now hurry up," she says. I nod. She walks out of the room again. Phew just in time. Normally I change clothes at Meri's and go to school, but my mother freaks out if I do that while I'm under house arrest.

I get up and put on black pants with a red blouse. I put on my light brown boots and walk to the bathroom. I quickly brush my teeth and comb my hair, letting it fall loosely over my shoulders. I walk downstairs. Mom is reading the newspaper while she gulps down a cup of coffee. When she sees me she takes her last sip and stands up. She puts on her coat and kisses my forehead. "I'm going to work. There is food in the refrigerator." She says and walks out of the house. I'll grab something to drink.

There's honking from the street. Meri. I quickly grab an apple and run outside. I lock the door behind me. I get into Meri's car and he drives away. "Were you still on time?" he chuckles. "Just in time," I laugh.

We drive into the school parking lot. Meri parks the car and we get out. "Sage!" I hear Arya shouting about school worries. I chuckle and Meri shakes his head laughing. Arya and another boy walk towards me. "Look, this is Braxton. From that date" she smiles. "Hay," he says, grinning at me. Urghh I already don't like him but I'm not going to tell him that.
