Pov Sage

"No, Arya, that dress is almost scary," I laugh. I never wear dresses. Oh sorry forgot to say. Arya and I went shopping after school probably explains something. "Oh, come on this one," she says. She is holding up a black dress. I sigh. "Come on," I mumble and pull the dress out of her hands. She claps her hands happily. I walk into a fitting room and put on the dress. Just as I turn it on my phone goes off. Meri. I hold the phone between my ear and my shoulder while trying to zip up my dress. "Hey Sage" I hear Meri say on the other end of the phone. "Hey," I say and make another attempt to close the zipper. "What are you doing again?" He laughs. "I'm in town with Arya and she told me to wear a dress, but I can't go to the restaurant," I chuckle. "Oohh you in a dress" he says and you can almost hear him screeching. I chuckle. "Is a shirt of yours or a hoodie also allowed?" I chuckle. "That's also good," he laughs. "No, I called because I'm with you but you weren't there so I'll come over later," he says. "That's good," I laugh. "Good luck with your dress. I'm going again. Houdoe Sage" he chuckles and hangs up. I put my phone away again. "Can you make it, Sage, it's taking a long time," Arya shouts laughing from the other side of the curtain. "I can't close the zipper," I laugh. She enters the booth and closes it, grinning. I'm spinning around. "And I already look a bit like a bitch," I laugh. She is looking at me with her mouth open and her eyes wide. "You look really good in that dress, you MUST buy it and if you don't, I'll give you it," she says determinedly. "Then I'll get it from you," I laugh and push her out of the cage. I'm getting changed again. Normal clothes fit a lot nicer.

I walk towards Arya again. She is standing with the pajamas. "Is this one nice?" she asks. She holds red shorts and a gray top in the air. I nod and look at the rack myself. I see black and white checked shorts, a black helmet and a gray vest. I pull it off the rack and show it to Arya. She claps her hands enthusiastically. I shake my head laughing.

We're finally done. Arya paid for the dress and I still have the pajamas. Arya bought some more things but I didn't like anything. I'm behind Arya in line. It's now my turn to pay. I put the pajamas on the counter and grab my wallet. I think there is a 17 year old boy behind the counter. He's quite handsome. He smiles and scans everything once. "That is 37.85," he says. I nod and insert my debit card into the small device. In the meantime, the boy folds everything and puts it in a bag. "Have fun with it? The receipt is in the bag," he smiles. I nod. Somehow strange. They usually ask if you want the receipt. I never want the receipt, I mean if I do take it with me I still throw it away at home. Do you understand?

I am home again. I hang the dress in the closet and put on my new pajamas. Just then Meri comes flying through the window. "New?" he asks and walks towards me. I nod and put on the hood of my vest. He lets the fabric of my vest slide through his fingers. "It's nice and soft," he says. I chuckle and nod. "Looks good on you. But Sage I have decided that we are going to sit there," he says. He throws me over his shoulder and walks towards the bed. I chuckle. He puts me down on the bed and plops down next to me on top of the empty bag that used to contain the clothes. Meri throws the bag aside. The receipt falls on the bed. Meri grabs it and scans it once. "Whose number is that?" he asks with dark eyes. "which number?" I ask. What is he talking about again? He shows me the receipt. At the bottom of the receipt it says 'call me. X boy from the counter 06-1234567890'. I burst out laughing. Meri looks at me questioningly. "He's really desperate to give out his number on receipts," I say, laughing. Meri shakes his head laughing and face palms himself.
