Pov Sage

I swallow, Axel really asked me out. A strange feeling goes through me. What should I answer? Yes No? To be honest, it scares me a bit. I don't know why, but it is. "Sage?" I hear Meri say, startling me from my thoughts. "Hmm" I mutter absently. "Hey, you're okay, you look quite pale," says Meri. He gets up and stands in front of me. He looks straight at me and puts one hand on my cheek. "Just lie down, I'll get some water," he says and looks at me worriedly. I nod and walk towards my bed. Meri walks away. I take off my pants and put on a pair of Meri sweatpants. I crawl under the covers. I close my eyes for a moment.

"Sage?" a voice mutters softly. A warm hand strokes my hair behind my ears. I carefully open my eyes. I look at the boy whose voice came from. Meri is crouched in front of me. I try to smile a bit. "Here you have some water and a paracetamol." He says worriedly. I take the glass from him and sit up a little. I put the glass to my lips and take a careful sip. I put the paracetamol in my mouth and swallow it in one go. Wow, they really need to do something about these things so that they either taste better or are easier to swallow.

I wake up again. I feel a strong arm around me. I slowly open my eyes and turn around. Meri is sleeping next to me. His hair is completely messed up. "He'll like that," I chuckle to myself. A very charming snoring sound comes from his mouth. Actually, you might as well put that part of charming in brackets, because, well, charming is something else. I unconsciously smile at him. "Staring is rude," I hear him mumble. Huh, but he doesn't have his eyes open at all. He opens his eyes and looks at me, grinning. "You weren't even looking," I say, surprised. "I had my eyes a little open," he grins. "Yes, that explains a lot," I laugh. "How are you?" he asks. I shrug. "I feel a bit nauseous and I have a headache," I say. "As long as you don't throw up on me," Meri laughs. "Getting sick of a message from Axel. Too nice for words. If you don't count the part of being sick for you then," he grins. "Ha ha ha" I mutter sarcastically.

"And are you going out with him?" Meri asks at once. "Don't know. He's not that nice," I say. I feel my cheeks turn slightly pink. "I see you blushing," Meri chuckles. I quickly put my hands on my cheeks. "Not anymore," I say stubbornly. He chuckles. "What if he doesn't like me after the date" I mutter softly. "I'm quite afraid that the same thing will happen that happened to Fox," I mumble. Meri pulls me against her. "Sage you are the most beautiful, nicest and funniest girl I have ever met. I could go on for a while, but we are far from done. If Axel doesn't see that, he's just an idiot and very blind." Meri says. I smile at him. That was sweet of him. "Thank you. So you think I should go on a date with him." He says and shrugs. "But before you make your decision. Axel isn't always that great. He brought quite a few girls home. He doesn't know me like you know me. He only knows me as the boy who always parties and fixes girls," says Meri. I grab my phone. What shall I do? Yes or no?
