Pov Sage

"Ma-am" I sigh and feel the heat rising to my cheeks. "What is?" I hear Anna say from a little further down the hall. "Oh oh now we're going to get it" Meri mumbles. I nod. She comes and stands next to my mother in my room. "Oh, hi Sage and Meri," she says. "Hey" I say. "I still haven't received an answer to my question," Mom says. "Then what is the question," says Anna. "Or that the two of them have a date," Mom says and looks at us again. "Yes?!" Anna says enthusiastically. "Yup," says Meri. "THE PHASE IS OVER!!" Anna shouts enthusiastically. Meri raises his eyebrows. "Yes what. Sage is much nicer than all those other girls you bring with you and you know it," Anna says sternly to Meri. "Yes, mom," he chuckles. I look at Mom. She looks at me with a smile. Oh well, smiling. It's more like a combination of a smile and a grin, so to speak." How long has this been going on?" she just asks this time, grinning. "Mom" I sigh. "Yes, yes, we're going already. We'll leave you alone for a while," she says, chuckling, and pulls Adeline out of my room and closes the door behind her.

"Okay, but I'll pick you up at 8 o'clock, okay," he says. I nod. He wants to press a kiss on my lips but I push him away. "Not yet," I say. He nods and walks towards the window. "See you later then," he says. "Oh yeah, and uh, you don't have to suddenly dress up or anything, just be nice," he chuckles. "Obviously," I laugh. He chuckles and climbs through the window to the tree between our houses. I turn around, it is now half past four. What can I do in the meantime? My cell phone rings. My ringtone, or Footloose, echoes through my room. That's a really nice song! I pick up my phone and answer it. "Heyy Sage" I hear Arya say on the other end of the phone. "Heyy Arya" I say. "Okay, I've decided that you're going to the city with me now. Whatever your plans are, cancel because you are coming with me," she says. "Also my date with Meri" I chuckle. "Is that tonight?" she asks enthusiastically. "Yup," I say. "Okay, then you will definitely come along. See you soon. See you in front of the Mac" she says and hangs up. I chuckle and throw my phone on my bed. I quickly grab my wallet and go downstairs. "I'm going to Arya!" I shout and walk out the door.

"Heyy" Arya says. Before I can answer she pulls me into the Mac. "We're going to get ice cream," she chuckles. "Okay," I laugh. "We walk to the ordering counter. "2 McFlurry Oreos," I say. The woman behind the counter is typing something into the computer.

We walk outside again with our ice creams. The sun shines in my eyes so I close them a little. "And what are you going to do?" she asks. "I have no idea," I say and shrug my shoulders. "We can do something with that," she says. "Hey, that rhymes," she adds, laughing. I chuckle and nod. "But then I know where we have to go," says Arya enthusiastically. "Yes?" I ask in surprise. She nods. She takes another bite of her ice cream. She takes my hand and runs down the street. Together we run into the first, best H&M we come across.

We're just sitting there looking through the racks when a girl walks up to me. "Can I maybe help you with something?" she asks. She smiles but at the same time she looks extremely bitchy. "No," Arya says before I can answer, which is probably quite smart. the girl smiles. Oh well, smile with that bitchy laugh, so to speak. She walks away. "You are welcome. You would probably call her names," Arya chuckles. I chuckle and nod. And look. She is completely right about that. Oopsie.
