I get out of Meri's car. On the schoolyard I see Arya kissing Braxton. Grr I still don't like him. "You idiot" I hear Meri mumble. He also looks at Arya and Braxton. "Come," says Meri. I chuckle and jump on his back. He chuckles and walks towards the door. "Hey Meri. Sage!!" I hear a voice shout behind me. Meri turns around. Axel enters the schoolyard. "Hey dude," says Meri. He puts me on the ground and gives him a bro hug. "Yoo" says Axel. "What are you doing here?" I ask. "Good morning too Sage," he smiles. "Yes, yes, tell me," I insist. He chuckles. "I'm back in town. I come back to school here." he explains. "Ahaa" I mumble. "So Meri, when are we going out together again?" he asks Meri and walks inside. Arya comes running towards me. "Did you see that. He is so sweet" she says cheerfully and blushes a bit. I look at her questioningly. "Oh you mean that with Braxton" I say. She nods happily. "Yes, I saw that," I say. "He is so sweet and handsome. And he is sweet. Have I already told you that he is sweet" she stammers. "Yes, about 3 times already" I mumble and walk inside. "Okay, great," she smiles. "Sage, I need your help," Axel shouts as soon as we walk through the door. "And who is that handsome?" Arya grins at me. "That's Axel," I smile and feel my cheeks turn a little pink. "Okay Sage you need to know one thing" she says and she grabs my shoulders and looks straight at me. "He's super handsome but I'm sticking with team Sage and Meri," she says, chuckling. "Well, me and Meri are best friends, remember," I say. "Yes, yes, yes, continue with that nonsense tomorrow. Best friends with benefits" she chuckles as soon as I walk away. "No Arya, just no" I say as I turn to her one more time. I walk to Axel and Meri. "What's wrong" I say. "I have to go. Can you show him the way and such," says Meri. I smile at him and nod. "You are the best," he says. He quickly presses a kiss to my cheek and then runs into the hallway. I shake my head laughing and look at Axel. "Okay where do we start?" he asks. "That way," I chuckle and point down the hallway.

"Sage, I'm not used to this from you," the teacher whines as soon as I walk into the classroom. "Yes, but" I try. "No, just get out," he says. "Sir, with all due respect, she is not even officially inside yet," I hear Axel say, standing next to me in the doorway. "Excuse me, young man, do you go to school here?" he says again. "Starting today, so just deal with Sage and me sitting there," Axel says. He grabs my hand and pulls me into the classroom. I swallow, waiting for the reaction of the teacher who just looks on in surprise. "Sit down quickly," Axel mutters when we stand at 2 empty tables at the back of the classroom. I blink a few times and sit down on the chair. The teacher also seems a bit confused. He shakes his head once and goes back to his lesson. Phew just right. I would have been in quite a big problem if school had called Mom. Axel chuckles and packs his things. I follow his example and try to follow some of the lesson.

"Yo Sage" Meri says as soon as he jumps into my room. "Hey" I mumble absently as I read section 6 of my history book. "No no no. School is over, you know," he says as he pulls the book out of my hands. "Please Meri, I just have to go through that paragraph and then I'll be done with my homework." I whine and try to steal the book back. There is only 1 small problem. Meri is much bigger than me. "You know, maybe you should try it too," I chuckle. "Learn what?" he laughs. I nod. "We have a test tomorrow," I say. I jump and pull the book out of his hands. "Ahh shit, that's going to be another 3" he mumbles and plops down on the bed. "Sage" says Meri. "Hmmm" I mumble. "What do you mean Axel is asking you out for?" he asks. Huh what. I look at him questioningly. He sits with my phone in his hand and points to the lock screen where there is a message from Axel.
