Happy new years! It's new years for me currently, and next time I post itl most likely be it for you guys too

I hope 2024 is better, I really do- I'm tired of this year and all the shit it caused me

Genya pov

I was greeted by mui coming to me, giving me a hug, “Genya, give me your arm-” he said, I out my self out skeptically, and he put a nice teal bracelet on my wrist.. 

“Oh- thank you mui-” I said, smiling, he nodded and smiled, “Is it pretty?” He asked, I nodded and ruffled his hair

“Just like you” in added, I always said that to him, just to remind him of how pretty he was.. Plus, he needs the confidence st the moment

He smiled, “Mm.. Thank you-” he said, hugging my arm, “You're clingy today..” I said, he smiled, “just tired- very..” He told me, laying his head on me and taking a deep breath. “Yeah, can imagine..” I said, he looked at me, “you free..?” He asked, 

I shook my head, “Getting my hair dyed today, remember?” 

He looked up at me, “Oh that was today-?” “Mhm” “Ooo.. I want to bleach mine.. Like.. The very ends.. So I can make them teal again instead of straight black..” He said, I shrugged, “wouldn't recommend it, it really fucks up your hair” 

He shrugged, “It's not gonna be long for a while, why not fuck it up now?” He said, I shook my head, “Ehh.. I wouldn't do it- try keep it healthy for now” I said, he shrugged and nodded, “I'm sorry about the haircut though.. I am- I really am-” 

He shrugged, “Not much to do about it, plus, it's growing on me, I prefer it actually” he told me, I was a bit shocked, “You prefer it..?” “Mhm” 

“I thought you hated it ah..” I said, he shook his head, “a lot cooler, so it's better, one hundred percent better” 

I was yeah, shocked to say the least.. I thought he hated it.. But he liked it-? I mean, of course I'm happy he does, but like.. Was a shock to me-

“Tells me apart from yuichiro, and for once, it's something he wouldn't do” 

I damn well feel like he would cut it.. But.. He knows yuichiro better than I do, so I'll just shut up

“Mhm, plus yuichiros different now.. Isn't he? He's been acting weird”

Mui immediately looked at me, “I know! He's being a dick to me!” He said, clearly upset, “He commented about my weight, my hair, even my fucking personality! Said he wouldn't say this shit to senjiro but would to me- I mean- come on!” 

I have never seen mui so pissed off- especially at his own brother.. It's scary-

I nodded and agreed, “He's been rude to me lately, not too bad, but you know that sweater I gave you? He gave it back to me and said something like ‘HeReS yOuR sTuPiD sWeAtEr’ “ I mocked, mui giggled, “You sound like Regina George”

I laughed with him- god- I kinda did- mui knows mean girls? Even more shocks-

“Eh, he's just emo right now, he has gyokko on him now, he deals with it but still hates it- and his braces, but dude- he doesn't need to make me feel down- like god-!” Be repeated, he was really having shit with Yui.. Huh? 

“Ahh.. I just miss Yui, the one I grew up with, over the years he got more.. Rude, or dicky” “dicky?” “Like bitchy, but for guys” 

“Ohh-” “Yeah- I don't know, he's just an ass at the moment, I wish I had the old Yui, he'd comfort me whenever-” “He still would, I know he would” “yeah but now, he only does it when he really needs to, no other times, only when it's bad bad, because he can't being himself to apologize to me for saying shit” 

I heard him sigh, “it's just annoying, he's wrapped up by senjiro, it's just ‘senji this’ ‘senji that’ and it..” He paused and took a deep breath, “it's just.. Different..”
