chapter 32

I feel like shit but, let's write this chapter <:D

Mui pov

We were just starting to make dinner, all the upper moons were home, they kept staring at us.. Maybe me in specific? I don't know, didn't really want to look at them incase they'd get mad at me for it

I was on washing anything that needed to be washed, and putting stuff in the oven or cooking it, and yui was on cutting and spices

We were just making soup, so it'd be okay, not difficult

Yui and I both took cooking for a subject, it was pretty easy because of how much h we cooked at home, and it helped st home too, it meant we could cook more for the upper moons, so no yelling, no potential bruises, scars, injuries

I remember our cooking teacher thought it was weird how skinny Yui and I were for being so good at cooking, since we basically never eat what we cook, unless it's at school, we can eat that-

But at home.. It goes to the upper moons

Sometimes we get some if there's a lot, keep they want us to sit still the table, but we don't eat much so they aren't angry at us for any reason

Yui does have more meat on him though, he doesn't do as much sport as me, so maybe that's why? But also he has a lot more food, I don't eat as much, I'm not a fan of eating a lot, makes me feel greedy

"Ta, pass me the spoon" Yui said, making a grasping motion, I passed him the app on I had just washed, and he stirred the broth

"Yui.." I said, "hmm?" "Uh-"

What do I say-

"Uhh- hows senjiro?"

Good enough

"Ahh, he's okay, he's going to the doctors for it some time this week hopefully, I already told you though, so why do you ask?" "...Ohh, just wanted to make sure- ah- how bad was the burn?"

He just kinda squinted, "pretty bad, it dug right down through his skin, shit ton if layers since it clamped on" "Ahh, ouch"

"Mhm, he was crying- I mean, when isn't he? But like, that's a fair reason to cry"

I let our school slight giggle, "say.. How close are you and senjiro?" I asked, I was.. For some reason paranoid about what genya said, I don't know why it made me upset, or worried.. But it did.. It really did-

"I'd say we're close, I'd like to be a but closer, he's a really nice guy"

"Ahhh, Mhm, he is nice"

I mean- if he does like him, or senjiro likes him.. That's okay, I need to let them have their own business and privacy, it's not my life.. Geez, is this what it felt like for Yui when genya and I got together?

Anyway, it doesn't matter, it's fine-

Yui just continued cutting and mixing, "what happened while I was gone?" He asked, "anything exciting?" "Nah, just called genya and caught up with him, nothing big"

Yui nodded, "we're almost done, wanna go set the table?" He asked, I nodded and picked up some okayes, knifes and forks, and brought them to the table.

While I was setting out all the plates, gyokko came behind me and touched my back, it scared the shit out of me

"Soooo~ you were calling genya earlier, hm?~" he said, I tried pushing him off, but he latched into me like a leech..

"Yes? Or no?~" "yes.. I was calling genya.." I said, putting a plate down, hoping he'd leave me alone

"mmm~" he said, touching my hair a bit, I continued putting plates down, trying everything to ignore him, but what he was doing made me tense up really badly, it did

"Please stop.." I asked, but before I realized what I said, he yanked my hair "don't you dare tell me what to do, stupid kid"

I just stood there, it hurt.. I put my hands behind my head to try grasp it to make it stop pulsing with soreness, but I couldn't, gyokko was in the way

After a while.. He just pushed me down, and left, saying something like.. Maybe it was "now get the dinner ready" or something along the lines if that.. Couldn't remember, my head hurt, really bad..

Yui made him and I some food, and we went to our room to eat, a lot more peaceful than down there with the upper moons
