I was drunk as fuck.

"Holy shit Alexis, and they say I'm bad" Tank managed to get out through his laughter.

"This is a bad idea" he said once he'd calmed down.

"I know..." I said, giggling.

He called and I just let it ring. I wasn't that brave.

His answer was short and sweet.

"Dianna is my brothers wife."

I was speechless.

"Holy shit he found him already. And little ol' AJ got himself an old lady ae?" he said with a whistle. The man held his liquor far better than I did.

Dom called again, but I let it ring, instead opting for another voice message.

"Shit, I'm so sorry Dom. I'm just so angry at you."

I pressed send, before replaying the first message just to hear his voice again. Tank rolled his eyes.

My phone pinged with a response, and I was glad he'd stopped trying to call.

"I love you Alexis. I had to find my brother either way, but you know why I did what I did. You have to understand. This isn't fucking easy for me either."

I didn't want to believe him but I knew him well enough to hear the sincerity in his voice.

Another message came in before I had the chance to respond.

"Where are you Alexis?"

"None of your business" I replied, unable to help myself.

"Why the fuck is Tank with you?"

"He's my bestie, didn't you know?"

Tank sniggered again.

"Cut the shit Alexis. Are you two at the clubhouse? Are you safe?" came Dom's reply.

"I told you Reaper. Its none of your business. I'm with Tank. That's all you need to know. He didn't leave me like you did."

And then I hung up.

I knew how horrible I was being, but the alcohol had my mouth running away on me.

He rung back straight away, and when I didn't answer, Tanks phone started ringing.

"Dont you fucking dare" I said to him sternly.

"Your gonna get me fucking killed woman" he growled before turning his phone on silent and putting it into his pocket.

Another voice message came through.

"Fuck Alexis your killing me. Just tell me you're ok wherever the fuck you two are. Tell Tank if anything happens to you I'll rip the motherfucker apart if anything happens to you."

"I'm safe Dom. Don't worry about me. Goodnight babe."

I turned my phone off, not wanting to risk hurting him anymore than my words already had.

Soon after, we heard the banging of doors opening and shutting, and heated voices outside. I crawled shakily to the edge, feeling Tanks hand grab onto the back of my dress.

"Its dark as fuck but I can't find them anywhere out here. Tank's bike is still in the lot. It doesn't make any fucking sense. Where the hell are they?" came the first voice.

"Reapers gonna have our fucking heads if she's gone. And Tank's got a lot to answer for if he ever shows his fucking face around here again, taking off with the Pres's old lady" came the reply from a second voice.

"He can't fucking do that. Didn't you hear, the dumb fucker left her behind. Never ended up asking her. Pretty much asked her to walk away instead. Or so I heard. Fair game if you ask me."

"Shit, hope he makes better decisions than that as President. Club might be up shit creek if he ain't up to the job."

The voices slowly faded and I couldn't make out what they were saying.

Coming back from the edge, everything suddenly started to spin violently, and I turned my head, narrowly avoiding throwing up all over Tank's foot.

"Alright little lady, that's enough for you for one night" he said gently, moving the bottles of alcohol from my reach.

"Want me to help you back inside?"

"Nope. I'm sleeping here" I replied, laying back down and staring up into the night sky. "Let all those mother fuckers sweat a little longer. I'll magically appear again tomorrow and everyone can calm their tits."

"Well I better stay too then. Can't have ya rolling off the building in the middle of the night" Tank chuckled.

"Thank you Tank" I replied sleepily. "Your a good friend."

"So are you Lex. So are you. My name's Dre by the way. Don't tell nobody though."

"Cross my heart" I replied, half asleep.

He said some thing else, and in my state I barely heard, but my heart raced. I could have sworn I heard him say 'I love you'.

I shrugged it off, my stupid drunken brain had to be playing tricks on me.

Once again my dreams were plagued by a certain tall sexy biker. It was the same dream over and over. He stood infront of me, just out of reach. I could feel his lips on mine. Smell his intoxicating scent. See his fucking gorgeous smile. Hear the roar of his engine? That was new.

The sound grew louder and I was startled awake. I looked over to see that Tank had been woken too, and he looked rather pale.

"Fuck. He said. "Your man's back all fucking ready."

My head spun, and I knew I was definitely still intoxicated. I'd never drunk so much in my life.

"What do we do?" I whispered.

"Well we sure can't stay up here all day" he replied sarcastically.

"Oh god. I have to face him don't I?"

"We have to face him" Tank corrected me. "I'll still be in for it more than you, even after your little phone stunt last night" he finished with a chuckle and I groaned. I'd managed to forget about that.

"I guess it's now or never then" I said, standing and trying to straighten out my dress as best I could. "Hand me that bottle would ya?"

Tank laughed again before handing me the bottle. "You're something else alright woman."

"Liquid courage" I smirked. "Only kind I got right now."

I took a few steps and stumbled, Tank rushing to my aid.

"Thanks" I said. "I'll be good once we're downstairs. Don't want to add another crime to your list."
