The Battle against Kaido in Wano part 3

As Kawamatsu heads to what looked like a grave site, he sees Zoro and Hiyori, who were surprised to see the self claimed Kappa. Hiyori: "Kawamatsu?!, is that really you?!" Kawamatsu: "Hmm?, how do you know my... wait... lady Hiyori?, is that you?" Hiyori: "Yes... I'm so happy to see you're alive..." Kawamatsu: "Same with you, my lady..." Zoro: "So you're one of Oden's samurai, like Kin'emon and Kanjuro?" Kawamatsu: "Correct, and you must be one of the allies that Kin'emon picked up... wait... where did you get that sword?!" gasped Kawamatsu, recognizing Shusui in Zoro's hand. Zoro: "This?, I got it after defeating Ryuma in a battle." Kawamatsu: "Impossible!, he died a long time ago, and that sword was sacred to Wano, then one day it got stolen along with the corps of Ryuma, how do I know you weren't the one who stole it long ago?!" Zoro: "Come on, this is my first trip to Wano, there's no way the thief was me... though I got a good idea who took it... that creep called Gecko Moria." Kawamatsu: "Hmm... I've heard of that name before... he once had a battle with Kaido before he was defeated and lost his crew... now when I think about it... that happened the same time Shusui was stolen..." Zoro: "Yeah... also the reason I came here was to find the grave of Ryuma... as I promised him to return the sword there." Hiyori: "But how could you promised him that if he was dead?" Zoro: "Well... it happened 2 years ago at a place called Thriller Bark..." said Zoro, before he begins his tale about the place of zombies and Moria using his devil fruit to create an army, before getting defeated by Luffy and the rest of his crew. Kawamatsu: "I see... I knew devil fruits have their own unique abilities... but to bring back the dead?... that's something..." Hiyori: "Sounds like something from a nightmare..." Zoro: "Yeah, it kind of was... but don't worry as we took care of that creep... and maybe now Ryuma can rest in peace... now that his sword's back... though I have a problem now... I don't have a third sword anymore..." Hiyori: "Um... if it helps... I might have a replacement for you." Zoro: "Really?" Hiyori: "Yes, it was one of the two swords my father once wielded... the only blade that was able to cut Kaido... it's name is Enma..." Zoro: "Really?" Kawamatsu: "Hold on my lady, you're really gonna give him one of Oden's swords?" Hiyori: "This man saved my life... and he needs a replacement sword, and he did returned Shusui, so I'm sure he's trustworthy for it." Zoro: "Hmm... the blade that can cut Kaido... Enma... alright, I'll accept it." Hiyori: "Thank you..." sometime later, Hiyori gave Zoro the sword, and he was impressed by the sight of it. After getting the sword, Kawamatsu went to use a transponder snail to call Kin'emon, telling him that there will be plenty of weapons for the extra allies they gained from Udon. Kin'emon: "So... you've spend some years collecting weapons from the graves until 13 years ago, when you got captured?" Kawamatsu: "Yes... not like we had a choice, but I promise you that we'll place them back to their resting place once the battle is over, and I've also been taking weapons from any enemy that came close to the graves as well, so there should be plenty of weapons for our allies." Kin'emon: "That's good to hear... as Raizo told me that we gained a lot of allies from Udon... luck seems to smile at us... for now at least." Kawamatsu: "Yes... but we need to be careful not to let the enemy know we're alive... speaking of which... I hoped Denjiro is okay..." Kin'emon: "So do I... but there's not enough time to go search for him... for the Fire festival is tonight, which is the night we attack." Kawamatsu: "Yes... so let's win this to honor Oden's final wishes." said Kawamatsu, before he ended the call. Back with Kin'emon, he was seeing that the minks were preparing for the battle, along with the samurai and the Straw Hat pirates. Wanda: "Carrot, it's good to see you're okay, I mean after you left Zou without my knowing." Carrot: "I'm sorry... but I really wanted to see what's beyond Zou, and helped the Straw Hats..." Wanda: "I know... say... where's Pedro?" asked Wanda, before Carrot looked down in sadness. Carrot: "He sacrificed himself to help us escape from Big Mom at Whole Cake island... we wouldn't be here today if it weren't for him..." said Carrot as she began to cry a little, before Wanda went to hug her for comfort, as she too began to shed some tears. Wanda: "I see... it's okay Carrot, his sacrifice won't be in vain...." that was when Nami came over to the minks. Nami: "Say Wanda... Carrot told me that there's gonna be a full moon tonight, which is the night we attack Onigashima... by any chance, can you do Sulong too?" Wanda: "Correct, it's a trick all of us Minks can do, I'm guessing you seen Carrot did it back at Whole Cake island?" Nami: "Yeah, it was amazing, she managed to take down a whole fleet by herself, so if the rest of you can do that... this battle battle should be easy." Wanda: "Well it's more of a gamble really, for if the clouds block the moon, we change back or don't change at all... not to mention that the numbers of the Beast pirates are way over our own..." it wasn't long before Kawamatsu and Zoro came to the scene, and that was when Luffy, Raizo, Chopper, Tama and Momonosuke came as well. Luffy: "Hey guys!, did I missed anything?" Nami: "Not really... [hits Luffy on the head] that's for making us worried like that!, I mean really?!, running towards Kaido and attack him without a plan?!, you're lucky that you're still alive!" Luffy: "I'm sorry... I really messed up..." Raizo: "Well we did managed to gain a lot of allies from Udon, not to mention freeing Kawamatsu as well." Tama: "Yeah, and thanks to that Mr Caribou guy, we gained control on their communications." Nami: "Caribou?" Luffy: "Remember that guy that tried to kidnap Shirahoshi back on Fish-man island?" Nami: "... That guy?!, he was in Udon?!, let alone in Wano?!" Momonosuke: "I take it that you know him?" Luffy: "Yeah... he was a creep, trying to kidnap a friend of mine..." Raizo: "Hmm... well whatever he did in the past, we couldn't have conquered Udon without him." Momonosuke: "Hey Zoro, my sister... is she okay?" Zoro: "Yeah, she's currently hidden somewhere safe until the raid is over." Momonosuke: "That's good news... last time I saw her, she was just a little girl..." Zoro: "Yeah, but she's 20 years older than you now." Momonosuke: "Really?!... well I guess that makes sense... as I did skipped through time by my mother's power..." that was when Boney 10 came to the scene, and when Tommy, Gidget, Jokey and Jokeo saw him, they gasped in joy and ran up to him and gave him a hug. Tommy: "Boney 10!, it's you!" Gidget: "Thank goodness you're okay!" Jokeo: "Yeah!, we owe ya our lives!" Jokey: "No kidding!" Boney 10: "Easy kids, I was just trying to make sure children like you had a future." that was when Robin came up to the group. Robin: "Isn't he... a demon dragon like the Demon trio?" Gidget: "Don't worry, Boney 10 is a good demon, in fact, he was the one who helped us escape from the demon trio when we visited Dressrosa the first time before we met you on Punk Hazard." Jokeo: "Not to mention he was the one who gave us our Devil fruits." Tommy: "He saved our lives back there." Jokey: "Yeah." Boney 10: "Well I had to... for you have a big destiny ahead of you, along with the Straw Hats." Luffy: "What do you mean?" Boney 10: "Well I would tell you... but that would be spoiling, and you're not the type who wants spoilers." Luffy: "No kidding, I don't want a boring adventure." Boney 10: "That's what I thought." that was when Usopp went to Chopper, who was looking nervous. Usopp: "Hey what's up?" Chopper: "It's just that... seeing Big Mom again back at Udon really scared me... I was hoping that I wouldn't see her again..." Luffy: "That worries me... I hope Jimbei's okay..." Chopper: "Oh yeah... he stayed behind in Whole Cake island to help us escape and making sure his old crew would make it out alive..." Luffy: "Yeah... I hope he's okay and made it here..." Jokeo: "Speaking of Big Mom... where is she now?" Chopper: "Last I heard, she was taken to Onigashima to face Kaido." Jokey: "Maybe those two would fight each other and kill one another." Tommy: "You really think so?" Jokey: "I don't know... we're not in Onigashima right now." Gidget: "Maybe my clairvoyance can give us a clue." said Gidget, before she uses her clairvoyance to see what's going on in Onigashima. At the moment, it would seemed that Kaido and Big Mom were drinking and were a bit drunk, like they were old friends having a party. Kaido: "One more round!" Big Mom: "That goes double for me!" Queen: "...The heck...?, they were trying to kill each other earlier... and now they're partying together?" King: "I'm just as confused as you are..." Jack: "They're both drunk by the looks of it..." Kaido: "Hey boys... there's big news for the Beast pirates..." Big Mom: "And for the Big Mom pirates as well..." Kaido and Big Mom: "For we've decided to form an alliance!, so we can conquer the world!" Jack: "... Wha?..." King: "Uh..." Queen: "WHAT???!!!" this news really shocked everyone, and Gidget was shocked most of all and was really scared too. Tommy: "What's wrong?!, what did you see?!" Gidget: "This is bad... really bad!" yelped Gidget, which made everyone turned around to look at her, puzzled on what was scaring the little pink cat mink girl. Nami: "What is it?" Gidget: "Kaido... and Big Mom... they've decided to team up!" this news made everyone paused in silence, before letting out a gasp of shock. All: "WHAT???!!!" Usopp: "You can't be serious!" Chopper: "Your psychic powers showed you that?!" Gidget: "I'm afraid so... and they plan on conquering the world too..." Conis: "Oh dear..." Su: "Suu..." Vivi: "So we're not only gonna deal with Kaido... but Big Mom too?" Karoo: "Quack?!" Franky: "Oh man... that's a super problem..." Brook: "Indeed... if those two really do team up... then this would give us a big disadvantage..." Sanji: "Yeah, Big Mom alone was a real pain... same with Kaido... so if they do work together... then we're in big trouble..." Boney 10: "Hmm... never thought those two would be working together again..." Luffy: "Huh?, they teamed up before?" Boney 10: "Yeah, back in the days of the Rocks pirates." Carrot: "Huh?, the Rocks pirates?, I've never heard of them..." Zoro: "Nor have I, and as a former pirate hunter, I would know a lot of pirate names..." Boney 10: "That's because they came around and disbanded way before your time, around over 30 or 40 years ago." Nami: "Really?" Boney 10: "Yes... the Rocks pirates were the most powerful and most dangerous pirates of their time... they were not only ruthless to their enemies, but to their own crew mates as well... Rocks himself wanted to be king of the world... and he would kill anyone who would get in his way, and had heavy hitters in his crew... including Whitebeard, Big Mom and even Kaido... all three of them once served under Rocks." All: "WHAT???!!!" Sanji: "No way..." Zoro: "Unreal..." Franky: "That's super insane..." Brook: "Oh my..." Kin'emon: "Hold on... Whitebeard was once crew mates with both Kaido and Big Mom on the same ship?!" Kanjuro: "Whoa... Whitebeard once mentioned he was once served a crew that he didn't like... but I never imagined the crew involved both Kaido and Big Mom..." Boney 10: "Of course they weren't the only ones in that crew who would eventually make a name for themselves... there was also Shiki the Golden Lion, Silver Axe... and Captain John as well." the Straw Hats gasped when they heard Shiki's name, as they remembered that pirate from 2 years ago. Usopp: "Hold on... Shiki?!, that guy who attempted to destroy the East Blue?!, he was in that crew too?!" Chopper: "Whoa... so many big names in that crew... those Rocks pirates really were something..." Boney 10: "Yes... they were very powerful, and Rocks was the strongest... but the crimes he committed were so terrible that the government and marines covered them up so they wouldn't look weak... can't really blame them though... the news of his crimes were too disturbing for the public to know..." Vivi: "Oh my..." Karoo: "Quack..." Conis: "You said they disbanded now a days... what happened?" Su: "Suu~." Boney 10: "Well... about 38 years ago... at an island called God Valley, the Rocks pirates were defeated and disbanded after a mighty fight against a certain marine who would eventually be known as the Hero of the Navy... Monkey D Garp." Nami: "Wait... Luffy, that's your grandpa!" Luffy: "Whoa... my grandpa fought those guys?!, and won?!, that's awesome!" Kin'emon: "Wait, Sir Luffy's grandpa is a marine, and he fought Kaido, Big Mom, Whitebeard and this Rocks guy?, and won?!, he must have been stronger than all of them put together!" Boney 10: "Well Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaido weren't as strong as they are now today, but they were still tough to beat, but even Garp couldn't beat them by himself, he had to team up with pirates to beat them and rescue the Celestial Dragons that were there." Chopper: "Wait... Luffy's grandpa teamed up with pirates?, and there were Celestial Dragons in that God Valley island?" Boney 10: "Yeah... though Garp never liked talking about it, not only because marines are not supposed to be allying with pirates, but also for the fact he never liked the Celestial Dragons... not like I can blame him." Usopp: "No joke... the Celestial Dragons are total jerks after all..." Boney 10: "Yes, and it's why Garp refused to accept the promotion to becoming a full fledged admiral, cause that promotion means that he would be directly under the Celestial Dragons' command, and it's his new found fame at the time is what kept him from getting court martial-ed." Usopp: "Huh... I was wondering why someone like Garp would still be Vice admiral after all he did for the navy..." Zoro: "You said that Luffy's grandpa teamed up with pirates to beat the Rocks... who was the captain?" Boney 10: "Well maybe you know him too... he was a man that would go down in history by starting the Great Pirate era after his execution... Gold Roger himself." Luffy: "What?!, my grandpa teamed up with the King of the Pirates himself?!" Usopp: "Those two have worked together to beat those Rocks guys?!" Chopper: "No way!" Conis: "Oh my..." Su: "Suu..." Vivi: "Amazing..." Karoo: "Quack!" after that battle, Rocks himself was no more, and his crew didn't mourn for him as they didn't like him anymore than they liked each other, they were just not people who liked taking orders from someone other than themselves... of course they didn't had much choice as Rocks was too powerful to beat at the time, at least until he was defeated by Garp and Roger..." Usopp: "Whoa... I can't believe there was a guy who had three of the 4 emperors under his command..." Boney 10: "Rocks was Gold Roger's first major enemy in his early days, and possibly his greatest ever too... and there was something the two of them had in common." Tama: "Really?, what was that?" Jokey: "Yeah?" Boney 10: "Well it's not common info, but Rocks' full name was Rocks D Xebec, he carried the Will of D just like Roger did... along with others like Garp, Dragon, Luffy, Ace, and a few others." Robin: "Another D... can't be a coincidence..." Kin'emon: "Hmm... and Kaido used to be a member of that crew along with Big Mom..." Boney 10: "Yes... and he was only an apprentice at the time too, and he was already a heavy hitter too, goes to show how big of a threat Rocks was at the time..." Luffy: "Wow... and it took both Gold Roger and my grandpa together to beat him... that's so awesome..." Boney 10: "I suppose... but if Kaido and Big Mom really are teaming up, and planing on conquering the world like how Rocks dreamed long ago... it could mean that in a way... the Rocks pirates are finally returning." this made many of the samurai allies to gulp in fear, as they now know the high level of the threat Kaido and Big Mom's team up means for them. Luffy: "I don't care if all 4 of the emperors team up, I'm gonna kick their butts, and then find Laugh Tale... and I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" Boney 10: "Well then... I wish you all good luck on your upcoming battle." Tommy: "What do you mean?, aren't you gonna help us?" Boney 10: "I wish I could, but there are some things I can't get involved in... besides I'm must too old for such action." Jokey: "Um... so Onigashima, the place where Kaido hangs out... it's an island next to Wano?, how are we gonna get there?" Franky: "Easy, with the ships Ashura found and I fixed some time ago, and speaking of Ashura, he managed to get the blueprints of Onigashima as well." Dog Storm: "Yes, very impressive, never imagined Ashura to get so good with such things." Ashura: "What did you expect?, you think I just slept under a tree for 20 years?" Kin'emon: "Anyway... we have a lot of work to do, tonight's the night we've been waiting for the passed 20 years... at long last we will reclaim our home land or die trying." Jokey: "Are those the only choices?" Kin'emon: "Now remember Luffy, we're all counting on you and your crew on this." Luffy: "Sure thing, leave everything to me and my crew." after that, the groups went to their positions. Soon, night fell, and everyone was at the meeting place at a port, and they were all ready for the battle waiting to come. It was then that Momonosuke came up to Tommy and his friends. Momonosuke: "Hey Tommy, can I ask you a favor?" Tommy: "Sure, what is it?" Momonosuke: "Would you and your friends sign this contract?" Jokey: "Sure." Gidget: "Wait, why do we need to sign it?" Momonosuke: "Oh uh... just wanna make sure you remember to write your names of course." Jokeo: "Oh that's a good reason, mama once said it's important to remember how to write your name." Gidget: "I don't know..." Momonosuke: "Come on, it won't harm anyone." that was when Gidget took a glimpse at the contract and gasped. Gidget: "Hold on!, that contract states that we'll give up our souls to the Demon trio if we sign it!" Momonosuke: "You weren't supposed to read it before signing it!" Tommy: "Why would you want to make us sign something that would make us lose our souls to... wait... you're not Momonosuke!" yelped Tommy, before Momonosuke transforms into ScreamClaw, much to everyone's shock. ScreamClaw: "You're smarter than I thought..." Jokey: "It's that red demon dragon of the Demon trio!" Jokeo: "Screech Tooth!" ScreamClaw: "That's ScreamClaw you idiot!" Nami: "Where's Momonosuke?!" ScreamClaw: "He's with ThunderSmacker and SpaceWarp right now... and even as we speak, they're on their way to Onigashima... where Kaido and Orochi are waiting for them." said ScreamClaw with an evil laugh, before Oden's samurai came up to him with very angry glares, which made the demon very scared. Kin'emon: "You are about to meet your end... evil demon..." ScreamClaw: "Uh... bye, bye..." said ScreamClaw, before he flies away from the scene, leaving the samurai and their allies behind. Kanjuro: "Unbelievable!, how could we let this happened?!, Lord Momonosuke has been taken right under our noses!" Raizo: "What are we gonna do?!" Usopp: "Guys... I think we're about to have more company..." said Usopp, as he points at the large group of people, lead by a man known as Kyoshiro (voiced by Christopher Wehkamp), Orochi's most trusted and most powerful samurai. Kyoshiro: "Well this is a surprise, seeing the samurai of Oden again, along with all of their allies." Zoro: "Who is that?" Shinobu: "This is bad... it's Kyoshiro... Orochi's top samurai..." Kin'emon: "I don't know how you know where we are, but we're not letting you stop us from reclaiming Wano!" Kyoshiro: "Oh Kin'emon, who said I came to stop you... I came to help." Kin'emon: "... Wha...?" All: "HUH?!" Jokey: "I'm confused..." Gidget: "Same here..." that was when a young swordswoman, who was known as Kiku (voiced by Kayleigh McKee), a member of Oden's samurai, came to the scene. Kiku: "Sorry for the wait everyone." Kawamatsu: "Kiku?!, you brought him here?!" Kiku: "It's alright, he's really an ally... in fact, he's really an old friend." Kin'emon: "What do you mean?" Kyoshiro: "Well I'm not surprised that you don't recognize me, but I'm still the same man, I remember when you stole the baby white boar that lured it's mother to a village that was saved when Oden took it down." Kin'emon: "What?!, how would you know about that?!, the only person who knew about that was... Denjiro?!" asked Kin'emon in shock, before Kyoshiro, who was really Denjiro, a member of Oden's samurai, nodded yes, which really shocked everyone. Chopper: "So... he's on our side?" Usopp: "Whoa... didn't see that coming..." Shinobu: "I don't... believe it... Denjiro... what happened to your face?" Denjiro: "I had to change it to disguise myself so I can get close to Orochi, and take him down from the inside... to avenge Oden and Toki... and take back our home once and for all... sorry to keep you waiting, but I had to make sure no spies were on to me." Kin'emon: "Understandable... I'm so happy to know you're still alive." that was when Carrot looked at some binoculars and saw a boat coming to the shore, which had a certain giant cat mink and some people with him. Carrot: "Hey guys!, Master Cat Viper's boat is coming, and he's got Marco with him!" Dog Storm: "So the cat finally came... talk about perfect timing." Carrot: "That's not all, there's another human with him... not sure who he is though..." said Carrot, before Cat Viper's boat came to shore, with Cat Viper himself came, along with Marco and a man that Luffy and Tama knew very well. Luffy: "Ace!" Tama: "Big bro!" Ace: "Hey Luffy, it's been a while, hasn't it?" Tama: "Big bro!, you're back!" shouted Tama, before she went to hug Ace, who was happy to see her too. Ace: "Oh hey Tama, you seemed to grew a little bit since I last saw ya." Nami: "Hey Ace, it's great to see ya again." Ace: "Same to you all, and I see that Luffy has gained some new crew members since I last saw him." Conis: "Yes, I'm Conis, Luffy's nurse and Dial engineer, and this Su, she's a Cloud Fox." Su: "Suu~." Robin: "I'm Nico Robin, the archaeologist." Franky: "Wow!, name's Franky!, the Straw Hat's super shipwright!" Brook: "And my name's Brook, the crew's musician, it's a pleasure to meet you at last." Sunny: "And I'm the Klabautermann of the ship, the Thousand Sunny, we met before when I was known as the Going Merry." Ace: "Really?, wow, looks like Luffy really got himself a very interesting crew, Jimbei sure is lucky to have joined ya." Chopper: "How did you knew about Jimbei joining us?" Marco: "Ask him that yourself." said Marco, before Jimbei came out of the water and walked up to the group with a smile. Jimbei: "Greetings everyone, I hope we're not late." Luffy: "Jimbei!, you finally came!" Carrot and Nami: "Jimbei!" Chopper: "Thank goodness you're okay!, I mean what happened at Whole Cake island... we were worried that..." Jimbei: "It's alright, the Sun pirates and I all made it out safely, and now I'm ready to join the crew." Zoro: "Happy to have ya onboard." Sanji: "Yeah, you'll fit right in." Luffy: "But let's save the celebration after we take down Kaido, that way we can celebrate our victory and having Jimbei at the same time." Robin: "Great idea." Kin'emon: "Yes, and we need to hurry, Momonosuke needs us right away." Denjiro: "What do you mean?, what happened to him?" Kanjuro: "I'm afraid he was taken not too long ago by some demons, and they're on their way to Orochi and Kaido as we speak..." Raizo: "Which is why we need to get to Onigashima as soon as possible." Denjiro: "Then there's no time to lose." Tama: "Yeah!, let's do this!" Wanda: "Are you sure it's wise to bring this girl to the battle?" Raizo: "Believe it or not, she has the power to tame those with SMILE fruit powers with a Dango, I saw it myself." Tama: "Yeah, if I can get all the other SMILE users eat my Dango, we can get them to join our side and help us beat Kaido and Orochi." Kiku: "That sounds useful... I just hope it'll work long enough..." Tama: "Don't worry, the effect last for about a week." Ace: "And don't worry, I'll make sure she's safe, and I've been itching for some action." Luffy: "Alright!, let's go!" All: "YEAH!!!, for Oden!, and for Wano!" shouted everyone, before the get to the boats and head off to Onigashima.
