Luffy's ONE PIECE Voyage

The battle against Kaido in Wano part 2

After Luffy's defeat to Kaido, the other Straw Hats and their allies were shocked by the results. Chopper: "No way... Luffy got beaten... and with just one hit..." Law: "That idiot... I told him to wait for the right time..." Nami: "Well he's never one who follows a plan... still... I never imagined that Kaido could beat him so easily..." Robin: "This goes to show how powerful Kaido is..." Zoro: "Where do you think those creeps are taking him...?" asked Zoro, looking at the beasts pirates carrying Luffy away with them. Shinobu: "Most likely to Udon, the country's ultimate prison... it is run by one of Kaido's top officers... known as Queen, he is known to create viruses to be used as a weapon." Chopper: "What?!, you can't use a virus for a weapon!, that would be as dangerous to the user as well as the enemy!" Shinobu: "Queen does not care... he thinks it's funny to see others suffering..." Carrot: "That's awful..." Usopp: "Oh man... now I'm worried about Luffy..." Raizo: "Fear not, for I shall not rest until I get him back." Nami: "Good luck then..." said Nami, before Raizo runs off to Udon, in hopes to free Luffy as soon as possible. It wasn't long before Luffy ended up in Udon and was quickly forced to work, like moving stones from place to place. Just outside of Wano, the Big Mom pirates, including Big Mom herself, were on the way to Wano, to get revenge on the Straw Hats for humiliating them back at Whole Cake island. But once they got to the waterfall and made it to the top, a large Pteranodon, who was really King (voiced by Gabe Kunda), Kaido's right hand man, came to the scene and used his foot to kick the ship off the waterfall and fell back to the bottom. King: "Hmm... that should take care of them... those fools should have known better than to move into Kaido's turf... emperor crew or not..." said King as he flew away from the scene. As for Big Mom, she fell into the water, but gets washed up to the beach, where she got up and noticed the Thousand Sunny. She went over to it and sees that no one was there, but knew that she was in Wano and begins her search for the Straw Hats, and King so she can make him pay for his earlier attack. Back with Luffy in Udon, he was recovering from his injuries fast, not to mention that even with the sea prism stone hand cuffs, he was still able to move the stones. It would seemed that Kid and Killer were there too, and they too were working their butts off, and Kid refuses to let Luffy beat him on moving the most stones. Luffy: "I'm telling you, I'm the one who earned the most dumplings!" Kid: "As if!, I've been here longer than you have!, meaning I worked even harder!" Killer: "Oh boy... here we go again..." that was when trouble brewed as Boney 10, the elder demon dragon who came to Wano, before getting locked up in Udon, was being attacked by one of the guards, who had powers of a SMILE fruit, which was not only one of the devil fruits that Dolflamingo and Caesar made, bu one that gives the user powers to have animal parts, in this case a scorpion. Unable to bare seeing an old man being attacked, Luffy punched the guard, which got himself in trouble with Boney 10, and now both of them were sentenced by Queen (voiced by Major Attaway), to have a battle against his guards until they either fall out of the ring or unable to fight anymore, not to mention forced to wear collars that will chop their heads off if they get out of the ring. Queen: "Now try to make this battle last, I want to be entertained after all." Luffy: "Mark my words balloon... I'm gonna get out of here and kick your butt, along with Kaido's!" shouted Luffy, which only made Queen laugh. Elsewhere in Wano, Zoro got lost again, and this time at a place where there was snow, and it wasn't long before he noticed a young woman being chased by the Demon trio. ScreamClaw: "Come back here lady!, we know who you really are!" ThunderSmacker: "A survivor of the Kozuki clan!, Orochi hired us to get rid of anyone with the Kozuki name." SpaceWarp: "Y-y-yeah... what they said..." just before the trio could attack the woman, Zoro came and slashed the trio with his swords, knocking them down and they went out cold at the moment. Zoro: "Hey, are you alright miss?" asked Zoro, looking at the woman, who was really Kozuki Hiyori (voiced by Molly Searcy) Momonosuke's sister herself. Hiyori: "Uh... yes... I believe so... thank you so much for saving me... who are you?" Zoro: "Me?, it's Zoro... so these creeps... they called you a Kozuki... are you by chance related to Momonosuke?" Hiyori: "You know my brother?!... I mean uh..." Zoro: "You're his sister?... aren't you a little old to be him?" Hiyori: "Well... it's hard to explain..." Zoro: "Wait... Kin'emon mentioned he and Momonosuke traveled through time..." Hiyori: "You know Kin'emon too?!, then you must be an ally!, thank goodness..." Zoro: "Yeah... you could say that... but what are you doing here?" Hiyori: "Well... I was on my way to the palace... when these creatures attacked me... as they somehow found out who I was... they must have overheard me talking to myself, hearing me mentioned that I was the daughter of Oden..." Zoro: "Hmm... well they won't bother you for a while... and I've been meaning to give them a piece of my mind since Zou..." elsewhere in Wano, Big Mom was still looking for Luffy and King, but no luck, however, she did heard a rumor about Luffy getting beaten by Kaido and was now in Udon, which would be her next destination. Soon, Kin'emon, Dog Storm and the others found one of Oden's samurai, which was Ashura Doji (voiced by Ricco Fajardo), and he and his men were more than ready to join the fight. Ashura: "Tell me... is Lord Momonosuke really alive and well?" Kin'emon: "Yes, he is... though speaking of which... where is he?" Kanjuro: "Funny... I haven't seen him since Raizo left for Udon to rescue Sir Luffy..." Nami: "Wait a minute... I haven't seen Tama since Raizo left either..." Usopp: "You don't think... they ran off to help Luffy, do ya?" Vivi: "I sure hope not..." Conis: "Yeah... they're just little kids..." Su: "Suu..." Karoo: "Quack..." that was when they Zoro scolding at some people of a nearby village, telling them it's wrong to laugh at someone's death, someone they were close to. Zoro: "What is wrong with you all!, you should never laugh at someone you loved when they die!" Hiyori: "Oh Sir Zoro... it's not their fault..." Zoro: "Huh?" that was when the others came, and Kin'emon, Kanjuro and Ashura gasped in shock. Kin'emon: "Lady Hiyori?... is that really you?" Hiyori: "...Kin'emon... it's so good to see you... you're alive..." Kanjuro: "What's going on here?, the people are laughing when someone they loved just died?, that doesn't make sense..." Shinobu: "I'm sorry... I should have told you... the smiles of these people here... they are merely masks... the kind of masks they could never take off... until they're dead..." Hiyori: "Yes... they seemed happy... but in reality, they're crying..." Zoro: "Crying?" Hiyori: "Yes... but they can't show it due to a curse that Orochi and Kaido put upon them... in the form of an evil fruit... that they called SMILE!" hearing this made Zoro and the others gasped in shock, knowing the fruit that Hiyori was talking about. Ashura: "She's right... those fruits are the reason the people here are laughing at the death of a loved one now." Shinobu: "You see... the SMILE fruit are man made devil fruits that Orochi and Kaido were getting from a man named Dolflamingo and Caesar... which gives the eater body parts of different animals..." Franky: "We already know that part, we even managed to destroy the factories at Punk Hazard and Dressrosa." Shinobu: "Yes... Kin'emon told me that part... but the damage has already been done... anyway... the success rate of that fruit's power was only 10%... so if 10 people eat the fruit, only one will get the power, while the others will get nothing but endless laughter as a side effect... which was how it got the name... SMILE..." Robin: "I thought the name sounded odd..." Nami: "But we never imagined that the origins of it's name would have a cruel story... Kaido, Orochi, Dolflamingo and Caesar... they really are such evil people..." Shinobu: "Sadly... that's not the worst part... Orochi was tired of hearing the whining of the people here... so he dumped the rejected SMILE fruit here so they would be cursed with laughter... he did it to make them suffer through laughter for the fun of it!" Nami: "No..." Vivi: "That can't be..." Conis: "That's awful..." Hiyori: "Yes... so don't be angry with them... they're the ones hurting most of all... Orochi did this for the sake of cruelty!, he took everything!, our happiness... our ability to mourn for our loved ones passing... if this isn't a nightmare... then what is?!, what more could he take?!" cried Hiyori, as the villagers were laughing and crying at the same time. That was when Franky got a call from the Sunny's Klabautermann, who was in a panic. Sunny: "Franky!, can you hear me?!, it's an emergency!" Franky: "What is it?" Sunny: "Big Mom's here in Wano!, and she's looking for Luffy even as we speak!" Chopper: "WHAT?!, Big Mom followed us here?!" Carrot: "This is bad!, very bad!" Usopp: "I hope she doesn't know where Luffy is..." Sanji: "If she hasn't found out already... she'll know..." meanwhile, close to Udon, Momonosuke and Tama were thinking of how to get inside and save Luffy, but couldn't think of an idea. Tama: "Oh... we gotta save big bro... he needs help..." Momonosuke: "Big bro?" Tama: "Yeah, Ace is like a big brother to me, and since Luffy is Ace's brother, that kind of makes him my big brother too." suddenly, the ground began to shake up a little, as if something big was coming their way. Turns out that it was Big Mom, who walked up to the front gate. Big Mom: "Straw Hat... I know you're in there!, and you will pay!" shouted Big Mom, before she grabs the gates and rips them away, much to Momonosuke's and Tama shock, as they never seen anyone so strong before. Inside Udon, everyone heard the sound of he gate being destroyed, and it wasn't long before Big Mom showed up, and everyone freaked up by the sight of her. Queen: "B... Bi... BIG MOM?!" Luffy: "No way!, why is she here?!" Boney 10: "That's a good question... what's Big Mom of the 4 emperors be here?, surely she didn't came here to start a war with Kaido..." Luffy: "You know who she is?" Boney 10: "Yes... and I also know that you're the one who helped Tommy, Gidget, Jokey and Jokeo..." Luffy: "You know them?" Boney 10: "Yeah, but that's not important now... tell me boy... how strong is your Armament Haki, cause you need to improve it if you want to get through Kaido's tough scales." that was when Big Mom smells something sweet, which was the red bean soup that Queen was eating. Big Mom: "Hmm... something smells yummy... must be food... I could use a meal right now..." Queen: "Huh... my soup?!, there is no way I'm giving my food to you!" Big Mom: "You better, cause nothing will stop me from having my meals..." Queen: "Then allow me to be the first!" said Queen, before he transforms into a Brachiosaurus, and goes to attack Big Mom, but the emperor was much tougher than he was, and managed to take him down with a few hits, much to everyone's surprise. It was that moment when Big Mom begins to eat the remaining red bean soup, but once she finished it, she sees Luffy, and her rage came back. Big Mom: "Ah... there you are... Straw Hat!" Luffy: "Uh oh..." it was then that Tama and Momonosuke came to the scene, while trying to hide from the guards. Momonosuke: "Oh my... who is that old lady...?" Tama: "I don't know... she's not only big, but strong too..." that was when Raizo came to the scene, and he was surprised. Raizo: "Lord Momonosuke?!, what are you doing here?!" Momonosuke: "Tama wanted to help Luffy, but I couldn't let her do it alone." Raizo: "How did you get here?" Tama: "I uh... used one of my Dango on a SMILE USER, who was a horse woman named Speed... and she was quickly tamed and gave us a ride here." Raizo: "Oh...?, a Dango with the power to tame a SMILE user?, how is that possible?" Momonosuke: "Well she said her Dango can tame animals... and since the SMILE users are part animal... maybe it would work on them too." it wasn't long before Chopper, who was sent to Udon by Nami's orders, came to the scene and was scared by the sight of Big Mom. Chopper: "Oh no... I'm too late!, Big Mom's already here!" Momonosuke: "What?!, the infamous Big Mom?!" Tama: "Who?" Chopper: "She's one of the 4 emperors of the sea... just like Kaido!" Tama: "Really?!" Raizo: "So she's as strong as Kaido?!, why is she here?!" Chopper: "She must be here to get Luffy's head as payback for what happened when we rescued Sanji from her... this is really bad..." said Chopper, as Big Mom swats both Luffy and Boney 10 away from the ring, which causes the collars around their necks to start ticking, alerting them that they were about to lose their heads. However, Luffy was determined to save the old demon, so with all his might and determination, he managed to use special Armament Haki to break the collars from the inside, freeing both of them just in the nick of time. Luffy: "Alright!, the collars are off!, awesome!" Boney 10: "Don't cheer just yet boy... for you still have to deal with Big Mom." Luffy: "Oh yeah, then you better run old man." Boney 10: "No... I'm staying put, do your best to protect me from Big Mom's rage." Luffy: "What?!" Boney 10: "Trust me, if you have the right motivation and drive to become stronger... then you can do anything, now do your best to master Armament Haki, and defeat Big Mom and eventually Kaido." Luffy: "You're one crazy old man... but I like that about you... alright... let's do this." said Luffy, before Big Mom went to attack, and although Luffy did his best, Big Mom swats both Luffy and Boney 10 into a wall. They were both alive though, and managed to free themselves, just in time to see Big Mom running up to them, forcing the pair to run away, with Big Mom chasing them around Udon. It wasn't long before Queen finally woke up, and was not only angry that Big Mom ate his red bean soup, but determined to make her pay. Soon, Big Mom finally got Luffy and Boney 10 cornered to a wall, and was about to attack them, when Queen went to his dinosaur form, jumping up into the air, and gives Big Mom a mighty headbutt on the head, in hopes to knock her out. However, she was still awake, and was mad for the attack. Big Mom: "You just made a big mistake... now tell me... what's it gonna be?... soup or life?" said Big Mom, which scares the heck out of Queen, before she fell to the ground and fell asleep, as it turned out that headbutt attack worked after all, only it took a moment to take effect. It took a moment for Queen to catch his breath, before ordering the guards to wrap Big Mom up in sea prism stone chains and due to all communications in Udon were somehow cut off, he and his men left Udon to take Big Mom straight to Onigashima, the little island near Wano, where Kaido uses as his base. After Queen left, the remaining guards begin to fire bullets that were filled with a virus that Queen invented at some of the prisoners, causing them to turn into living mummies, and the infection spreads through a single touch. The guards used the virus to force the prisoners to take down Luffy, but the Straw Hat pirate refuses to be taken down by some mere plague, and when Momonosuke revealed himself, the prisoners were finally given the motivation to fight against the remaining guards and taken them down, meaning that Udon has been conquered by Luffy and his allies. It was then the sound of someone laughing from a nearby cell, and Raizo went over to see a fish-man that he knew, who was Kawamatsu (voiced by Anthony Bowling), a fellow samurai of Oden's. Raizo: "Kawamatsu?!, is that you?" Kawamatsu: "Kappa, Kappa, Kappa!, indeed it is old friend, it's good to see you again." Raizo: "Don't worry, I'll get you out of there." said Raizo, before he heads off to get the key to Kawamatsu's cell. As for the guards with SMILE fruit powers, Momonosuke asked Tama to give them some of her Dango to tame them like the horse SMILE user she tamed earlier, and it seemed to have worked. As for the reason why all communications of Udon were cut off, it turned out that Caribou, who managed to escape from Fish-man island and entered Wano, was in Udon and managed to capture the main Transponder snail of the place, meaning all communications were his to control now. It wasn't long before Raizo finally found the key and used it to free Kawamatsu at last. As for Luffy, thanks to Chopper making an antidote, the straw hat pirate was quickly recovering from the Mummy virus. Chopper: "Well Luffy, I hope you're feeling better." Luffy: "I sure am, thanks to you." Tama: "Thank goodness you're okay big bro, I was getting worried." Momonosuke: "Yeah, me too..." that was when both Raizo and Kawamatsu came to the group. Kawamatsu: "Lord Momonosuke... it's so good to see you alive." Momonosuke: "Kawamatsu!, you're alive!" said Momonosuke, before Kawamatsu begins to barf out some bad fish. Raizo: "Are you alright?" Kawamatsu: "Sorry, I've spent 13 years locked up here and eating nothing but poisonous fish... but I managed to survive... long enough to fulfill Oden's wish and free Wano from Kaido and Orochi." Tama: "Let's do it!" Raizo: "Well we will need a lot of allies to aid us, not to mention weapons." Kawamatsu: "I should help with the weapons, for I know where to find them." Raizo: "That's good to hear." that was when Boney 10 came up to Luffy. Boney 10: "Alright kid, we don't have much time, so we need you to master the highest level of the Armament Haki, so you'll have a much better chance to beat Kaido." Luffy: "Sure thing." meanwhile at Onigashima, Big Mom was in front of Kaido's top officers. Queen: "Honestly King, I thought you took care of Big Mom earlier?, do your darn job!" King: "Well... I'm quite certain that I knocked her ship off the waterfall." Jack: "What I don't get is that why did you bring her here?" Queen: "Come on!, all communications in Udon were cut off, what was I supposed to do?" Big Mom: "You know King... in my country, I have many races in my crew... except for a few... giants are one of them, and there is another race that are now extinct... yet here you are... I might be willing to forgive your rude attack if you join me." King: "I refuse!" Big Mom: "Well that's a shame, but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, as you've been Kaido's right hand man for a long time now..." said Big Mom, before Kaido himself came to the scene. Kaido: "What are you doing?, take those cuffs off of her now." Queen: "WHAT?!, you're not serious, are ya?!" Kaido: "Take them off." King: "Um... if you insist sir..." said King, before he and the other officers took the cuffs off of Big Mom, who stands up and takes out Napoleon, who turns into his sword form. Big Mom: "It's been decades since we last saw each other... hasn't it." Kaido: "I'm pretty sure that I told you that I would kill you if you ever come here." Big Mom: "If you think I came all the way here to die, then you got another thing coming." said Big Mom, before she and Kaido clashed sword or club, and the sheer force of their Haki had made the clouds above them to be split apart.
