The giants of Elbaf

After escaping from Egghead island, the Thousand Sunny was sailing towards Elbaf, the location of the final Red Poneglyph the Straw Hats need to find Laugh Tale. Right now, Franky, Usopp and Dr Vegapunk were working on a secret project that involves the ship itself. Usopp: "Oh man... I can't believe this... do you really think it'll work?" Vegapunk: "Of course, I made projects like these before... just not into ships." Franky: "Well luckily for you, I know this ship inside out, and with this super upgrade, the Sunny will be the ultimate masterpiece, thanks to the awesome team up with me, Usopp and the world's greatest scientist." Vegapunk: "How true, you're certainly proved to be a much better partner than that gaseous creep Caesar..." Usopp: "Oh yeah... I heard you and Caesar were once partners." Vegapunk: "As much as I hate to admit it... yes I was... and when Vice Admiral Smoker and Tashigi showed me the children Caesar was using for his experiments... I was heartbroken... to think he would go such lengths for science... well I might be a scientist... I know there are limits... but Caesar didn't see them... and did some terrible things... I hoped to never see that creep again..." Usopp: "Well from what I heard from Nami, he was last seen trying to escape from Big Mom at Whole Cake island... don't know if he got away, but with our luck, he probably got away..." Vegapunk: "And with Dolflamingo and Kaido gone, he has no one to hide behind from the law for the crimes he committed..." Carrot: "Hey everyone!, there's an island up ahead!, could it be Elbaf?" called out Carrot, as the crew went to take a peek at the island, which had a dock with ship that were much too large for normal size people. Vegapunk: "This is it... Elbaf, the island of the giant warriors..." Usopp: "Wow... I can't believe this... after all this time... I finally made it to Elbaf... the island where Brogy and Dorry came from..." Carrot: "Who?" Nami: "They're giants that we met back at Little Garden, the island where prehistoric animals live, including dinosaurs." Carrot: "Really?!, that's amazing!, I hope to see it some day." Vivi: "I don't know... that place was pretty dangerous... like the predators there and the insect bites, Nami learned that the hard way." Nami: "Hey come on!, it wasn't my fault that I got sick from a bug bite!" Carrot: "Didn't you get cured by Chopper?" Nami: "Well you see, our trip to Little Garden happened right before we arrived in Chopper's home, so he wasn't with us at the time, but he did managed to save me." Carrot: "That's no surprise, he's the best doctor there is." Chopper: "Oh stop it!, flattery won't get you anywhere with me!" said Chopper while dancing happily. Su: "Suu!~, Suu~!" Conis: "What's the matter, Su?" Karoo: "Quack!, Quack!, Quack!, Quack!" Vivi: "Karoo?, what's wrong?" Chopper: "They just said that a giant axe and sword are about to attack us... wait... giant axe and sword?!" Franky: "Look out!" shouted Franky, as a giant sword and axe came down to the scene, heading for the ship, before Jimbei used his hands to catch them and tossed them away, while Conis used her bazooka to destroy them. Vivi: "What the heck?!" Nami: "Where did those come from?!" Brook: "Giants!" Robin: "Well that would make sense... it would take a giant to throw those weapons at us..." Brook: "No!, giants coming for us!" shouted Brook, as a pair of giants came to the scene, giants that the Straw Hats met before. Usopp: "Wait... isn't that..." Vivi: "Dorry and Brogy?!" Luffy: "Whoa!, it is them!" Sanji: "Were they the ones who tried to attack us?" Usopp: "Don't be ridicules, they wouldn't just attack us for now reason, maybe they don't recognize us, we do look a little different compared to our last encounter 2 years ago." Jimbei: "No... something's not right... look at their eyes." said Jimbei, before the others see that the giants' eyes were glowing red, and then Carrot noticed something else. Carrot: "Hey... what are those things on their heads?" asked Carrot, pointing at what looked like helmets on their giants' heads, which looked like it was made of high tech. Vegapunk: "Wait... I know those devices... they're mind control helmets!" Nami: "Mind control?" Vegapunk: "Yes, I once had blueprints of making such devices... but how could it be?, I destroyed the blueprints as I realized they were too dangerous if they ever fell into the wrong hands... the only one aside myself who have ever seen them was..." suddenly, the sound of someone laughing was heard, a kind of laughter that the group hope the never again, as Caesar came to the scene. Caesar: "Well... if it isn't my former partner, Dr Vegapunk, I heard about what happened on Egghead island, such a shame, the technology there was heaven for scientists like me." Luffy: "Caesar!, what are you doing here?!" Caesar: "After escaping from Big Mom, I had to keep a low profile... then I ended up here of all places... the giants were looking for new helmets for battle, which was when I remembered the blueprints of the mind control helmets, and then an idea came to me, if I couldn't create new giants, then I could control the originals with the mind control device!, genius eh?, She, Roo, Roo, Roo, Roo, Roo, Roo!" said Caesar with an evil laugh, making the Straw Hats very angry. Nami: "Should have known better than to let him go... he would bound to cause trouble wherever he goes..." Luffy: "Let those giants go!, they're our friends!" Caesar: "If you want them free, then you have to beat them in a battle, and I doubt you can beat them." Zoro: "Don't be so certain, as he's one of the 4 emperors now." Caesar: "Yes, I've heard about Straw Hat's victory over Kaido... but I doubt that even he could take down all of the giants." Chopper: "What do you mean by... all of the giants?" Caesar: "Foolish raccoon dog, you think I only made two mind control helmets for these two?" said Caesar, before many more giants came to the scene, and each one had a mind control helmet on their head. Sanji: "That's... not good..." Conis: "He even has control over the children!" said Conis in shock, as she sees some of the mind controlled giants were children. Robin: "How disgusting... using children as mindless slaves..." Nami: "This is bad... I can't harm them..." Vegapunk: "You don't have to, you need to destroy the source of the devices' power, which should be a station nearby." Vivi: "Then we need someone to go there and shut it down, but who?" Conis: "Hey... where's Su?" asked Conis, before she and the others noticed that Su was sneaking passed the towering giants, who were getting ready to attack. Caesar: "Alright my army... make those Straw Hats suffer like how they made me suffer!" ordered Caesar, as the giants went to attack, before Usopp went to use his sling shot to hit the giants with. Vegapunk: "Hmm... you know... this might be the perfect time to test out the Sunny's new feature." Franky: "You super got that right." Luffy: "Huh?, new feature?" Chopper: "You mean the Sunny has a new trick?" Franky: "You bet she does, hey Sunny, why don't ya show them?" Sunny: "It would be a pleasure... but first I need you guys off of me for a bit." said Sunny, before she controls the ropes of the ship to wrap up the pirates and Vegapunk, except Franky as he stayed onboard, before taking them to shore, and that was when the ship began to change form. Slowly but surely, the Thousand Sunny transformed into a giant robot, and Franky went into the controls. Franky: "Meet the Thousand Sunny Battle Bot!" shouted Franky, as the crew gasped by the sight of the ship's new form. Luffy: "Awesome!!!" Chopper: "Wow!, that is so cool!" Carrot: "Yeah!, Sunny is the coolest ship ever!" Nami: "Is she even a ship anymore...?" Robin: "Well I just hope this would be more useful than that other robot Franky has..." said Robin, talking about the Iron Pirate General Franky robot. Caesar: "What?!, he managed to turn the ship into a robot?!, that's insane?!, he's no scientist like me... then again... Vegapunk is with them... so it must be his doing..." Karoo: "Quack!" Vivi: "Go Sunny!, show the giants what you're made of!" Usopp: "Yeah, show them that you're not just a pirate ship, but the ship of dreams like Franky hopes for you to be!" Sunny: "You got it, and don't worry, leave these giants to me!" said Sunny, before she goes to battle the giants, who proved to be tough, but Sunny was proved to be really tough as well, like throwing powerful punches, and using her anchors like how Vivi uses her Peacock Slashers. It wasn't long before the other Straw Hats joined the battle, as they're not gonna let their ship fight the giants alone. Meanwhile, during the battle, Su was looking for the station where Caesar was using to keep the power of the mind control helmets on, and it wasn't long before she found it and ran off inside. When one of the giants got defeated, Caesar growled in anger. Caesar: "How could this be?!, I know they're in emperor class now, but surly even they can't beat all you all!, you pathetic excuses for warriors!" Usopp: "Caesar!, they're not pathetic!, and you're gonna pay for what you did to these proud warriors!, they're not your things to control!" Caesar: "Oh shut up, as your little toy can stop these giants." Usopp: "Who said about me needing to defeat them, guess you never realized that we're just the distraction." Caesar: "What are you talking about?" suddenly, the station that Caesar has to keep the power for the helmets got blown up, much to the gas man's shock and horror, before the helmets turned off and all of the giants returned to normal. Conis: "Su did it!, I knew she could!" it wasn't long before the giants looked around and see Caesar, who was now looking scared, as he tries to fly away. Before he could get away however, Conis came up and fire a pair of Sea Prism handcuffs from her bazooka, catching the gas man with one shot. Thanks to the cuffs, Caesar was no longer able to fly, and crashed into the ground. When Caesar looked up, he sees the giants glaring at him, before one of them lifts his club and then hits the gas man with it, knocking Caesar out cold. Franky: "Yeah!, serves him right, that jerk!" that was when Brogy and Dorry looked at Usopp, and smiled. Brogy: "Well look who it is!, the long nose kid of the Straw Hats!" Dorry: "It seems you made it!" Usopp: "Yeah, I sure did, and here is my crew." Brogy: "Oh yeah, it's good to see you all, and I see some new faces too." Chopper: "I'm Chopper, the ship's doctor." Franky: "Wow!, I'm Franky, the crew's super shipwright!" Brook: "My name is Brook, the crew's musician." Carrot: "Hi!, I'm Carrot, the crew's lookout." Jimbei: "I'm the crew's helmsman, Jimbei." Conis: "I'm Conis, the crew's nurse and dial engineer." Robin: "And I'm Nico Robin, the crew's archaeologist." Brogy: "Oh, so you're the girl that Saul told us about." Robin: "Saul... is he here?" Brogy: "Sure, and we can take you to him if you like." Robin: "Of course, it would be a real pleasure." Dorry: "Then follow us." said Dorry, before he and Brogy leads the Straw Hats and Vegapunk to a large cave, and inside it was a giant that Robin knows as Jaguar D Saul (voiced by Cole Brown), and he was surprised to see the Straw Hats. Saul: "Who are these people?" Dorry: "Saul, these are the Straw Hats, the pirates who helped us back at Little Garden two recent years ago." Brogy: "And look who's in the crew." said Brogy, before Robin walked a few steps forward. Robin: "Hello Saul, it's so good to see you're still alive..." Saul: "Huh... wha... Robin?... is that you?!" Robin: "Yeah... it's me." Saul: "Oh my gosh... look how much you've grown... you look so beautiful now... thank goodness you're still alive... and I see that you finally found some friends..." Robin: "Yeah... I most certainly did... they managed to pull off miracles that even I didn't predict... I couldn't have gotten this far if it weren't for them..." hearing this made the crew to blush and danced around in embarrassment. Dorry: "We could say the same about us not being here today if it weren't for them either..." Usopp: "That reminds me... how did you guys get back here?, aren't you still doing your duel?" Brogy: "Well... funny story, a year after you left Little Garden, there was another pirate crew that came and challenged us in a battle, and if they win, we join their crew, and in the end, they defeated us and we joined them, so because of that, Elbaf has become part of his territory." Vivi: "Wait... the pirate crew you joined... who was the captain?" Dorry: "A man who goes by the name of Shanks." Luffy: "WHAT?!, you're part of Shanks' crew now?!, that's awesome!" Brogy: "Oh yeah, Shanks mentioned you a few times, and about Yasopp being the father of one of your crew members too." Usopp: "Oh you must mean my dad!" Brogy: "Well I'll be... that's amazing... guess it's a small world after all." Luffy: "Wait... is Shanks here?" Dorry: "No, but he was a few days ago, he left to do explore, and left us in charge of guarding Elbaf... though we failed to do so when Caesar came and tricked us to wear those mind control helmets..." Brogy: "No kidding... to think we could be beaten so easily... we're losing our touch..." Usopp: "Hey don't beat yourself up, seriously, you're not the first ones to be fooled by that gaseous creep." Chopper: "Hey... where is he?" Dorry: "We locked him behind our island's prison, he won't be going anywhere now, especially not while he has those sea prism handcuffs." Saul: "Hey Robin, I take it that you want to look at the Red Poneglyph?" Robin: "That's right." Saul: "Then here it is." said Saul, before he shows Robin the Red Poneglyph, and it wasn't long before the group did a rubbing on a large piece of paper. Franky: "Alright!, we did it!, we got all four of the Poneglyphs!, now we can find Laugh Tale!" Robin: "And perhaps... I can finally learn the true history of the void century..." Luffy: "Let's go!" Dorry: "Hold on, you guys just got here, surly you would want to stay here for the big feast." Luffy: "Feast?!" Brogy: "Yeah, as a reward for saving us, and to welcome our friends as well." Brook: "Well if you insist, it would be a pleasure." said Brook, before the giants cheered, and soon the island was having a party, to celebrate the arrival of the Straw Hats, who have also saved the giants from Caesar. Everyone kept on partying until the next morning came, and it was then that the Straw Hats were ready to sail. Usopp: "Hey guys, if you see my dad again, tell him I said hi!" Dorry: "Sure thing Usopp!, brave warrior of the sea!" Brogy: "Yeah!" Luffy: "Alright everyone, now that we got all four of the Red Poneglyphs, we can finally sail to Laugh Tale... the island where the ONE PIECE rests... where we can make our dreams come true!" All: "Yeah!" meanwhile, in Mariejois, the Five Elders came to the MegaTrog. Mars: "Sir... I have bad news... the Straw Hats have found the last Poneglyph and are now heading for Laugh Tale, even as we speak..." MegaTrog: "What?!, hmm... that's not good... and of all times to do it too..." Ju Peter: "What do you mean?" Saturn: "My lord... you mean... that it's time?" MegaTrog: "Yes... the moment we've all been waiting for in the last 800 years... the operation that will turn this world into the New Underworld..." said MegaTrog, before he lets out an evil laugh that echoed throughout the room.
