Luffy's ONE PIECE Voyage

The giant duo of Little Garden

After leaving Whiskey peak, the Going Merry was sailing to Alabasta, in hopes to get Vivi home before it's too late. But first they need to make a stop to collect supplies for the voyage, and the only island the Log pose was pointing was a place called Little Garden. Luffy was looking up at the sky, before Zoro came up to him. Zoro: "What are you looking at?" Luffy: "For any snow to suddenly come down, it happened before we arrived to Whiskey peak." Vivi: "Well actually the weather is very crazy between the first islands and the Twin capes, but the rest of the Grand line is more calm, but that doesn't mean we can let our guard down." Luffy: "Sure thing." Zoro: "The weather is that crazy there?" Luffy: "Yeah, you just missed it cause you were asleep." Vivi: "Um... Luffy... are you sure it's really okay for you and your crew to help me get home?" asked Vivi, before Nami came to the scene. Nami: "Well it's not like we have a choice as now Baroque Works is after us too thanks to you telling us who their boss is, and Luffy has made his decision and we have to follow his orders." that was when Usopp called out to the others that an island was approaching. Nami: "That must Little Garden, the one that woman warned us about earlier..." Luffy: "What's so bad about it?" Vivi: "I don't know... I've never been on this island before..." Zoro: "It looks like a jungle..." Usopp: "Uh... guys... it's probably my imagination... but are those Pteranodon flying in the sky?" said Usopp, before seeing a group of Pteranodon flying around the island. Nami: "But... that's impossible... those should have gone extinct millions of years ago!" Vivi: "Wait... I've heard stories that some of the islands of the Grand line have been cut off from the rest of the world, allowing ecosystems from the world's past to remain the same on them... apparently in this case... millions of years..." Luffy: "So this is a prehistoric island?!, awesome!, let's check it out!" said Luffy, before he jumps off the ship and makes a run for it into the jungle of the island. Vivi: "Wait!, come back!" Sanji: "Don't worry, he'll be fine, besides we need to get some supplies before we get to Alabasta, and this island must have plenty of meat and fruits to collect." Zoro: "Sure you'll do that, I'll just stay here and take a nap." Sanji: "Fine by me, you wouldn't be able to get anything bigger than what I can." Zoro: "What?!, I can too!" Sanji: "Prove it then." Zoro: "Fine by me!" so with that, Sanji and Zoro ran into the jungle, leaving the others behind. Nami: "You got to be kidding... them too...?" Usopp: "Well they'll be fine... but for us... that's a different story..." Vivi: "Are you sure Luffy's the captain?" Nami: "Unfortunately yes... but hey, having an idiot like him for a captain is much better than a jerk like Mr 0 or Arlong... that's for sure." Vivi: "Well... I better go with Luffy, maybe a walk can take my mind off of Alabasta for a bit... come on Karoo." said Vivi, before her giant duck quaked in shock and fear, as he didn't want to go into the jungle, but didn't want Vivi to go out alone either. Nami: "Uh... are you sure Vivi?, we don't know what's on this island." Vivi: "Maybe not... but like I said before... I need to do something to clam my nerves..." Nami: "Okay... but make sure Luffy doesn't do anything stupid, cause he will." Vivi: "Sure." said Vivi, before she and Karoo went off to search for Luffy, while Nami and Usopp were all alone on the Going Merry. Usopp: "Hey Nami... do you realize now that it's just the two of us here..." Nami: "Yeah... but it's better than going in there..." Usopp: "I hope Vivi will be okay." Nami: "She'll be with Luffy, so we don't have to worry about her... maybe..." suddenly, the sound of giant footsteps were heard, and that was when what looked like a giant came to the scene. His name was Brogy (voiced by Jonathan C Osborne), and he was holding what looked like some dinosaur meat in one hand, and an axe in the other. Brogy: "Hello there, you got any drinks I can have?" asked Brogy, before Nami and Usopp fainted to the ground, much to the giant's confusion. Brogy: "Was it something I said...?" meanwhile, Luffy was looking around, when he sees some Brachiosaurus eating some leaves on tall trees. Luffy: "Wow!, this is awesome!, real dinosaurs!" shouted Luffy with excitement, before Vivi came to the scene. Vivi: "Be careful Luffy!, they might be plant eaters, but they're still large wild animals!" suddenly, one of the sauropods were slayed by a giant with a sword, but it wasn't Brogy, it was another one named Dorry (voiced by Bob Carter), and it didn't take long for him to notice Luffy and Vivi. Dorry: "Huh, I didn't think more humans would come here so soon." Vivi: "A... giant...?!, I heard they exist, but this is the first time I've seen one..." Luffy: "Whoa!, you're the biggest human I've ever seen!" Dorry: "Actually I'm a giant, a proud warrior from Elbaf, name's Dorry, and you?" Luffy: "Me?, I'm Luffy, and I'm gonna be king of the pirates one day, and the girl with me is Vivi and her giant duck." Dorry: "Well it's nice to meet you both." back with Nami and Usopp, they were with Brogy, who was trying to give them dinosaur meat, but too afraid to eat it as they believed he's trying to fatten them up and eat them. Brogy: "Come on you two, you gotta at least give it a try, dinosaur meat is really yummy." Nami: "No thanks, we're gonna eat as soon as the Log pose resets..." Brogy: "That might be too late for ya, as it would take a full year for the log pose to reset on this island." this made both Usopp and Nami gasped in shock and horror, before crying a little. Usopp: "It's over... we're dead..." Brogy: "Don't worry, noun of the animals will try to get ya as long as you're with me, I Brogy, proud warrior of Elbaf." Nami: "Huh?, Elbaf... is that where you came from?" Brogy: "Yup, and there's another giant here, we came to this island long ago to have our duel, and until one of us falls for good, we have to stay here and not come back to Elbaf." Nami: "What?!, you mean a fight to the death?!" Usopp: "That's crazy!" Brogy: "No... it is the way of the warriors of Elbaf." said Brogy, before the scene changes to show Dorry giving meat the Luffy and Vivi. Dorry: "Wow, for someone so small, you can sure eat a lot." Luffy: "Yeah... so you're a giant from a place called Elbaf?, and you and another giant came here to have a duel and can't go back until one of you falls for good?" Dorry: "Yeah, it's been nearly over 100 years now." Vivi: "What?!, that's a very long time..." Dorry: "For humans I guess... but not us giants, we can live for a few centuries." Luffy: "Wow... so what are you two fighting about?" Dorry: "Um... well... to be honest... me and Brogy had our duel so long... we kind of forgotten the reason." Vivi: "What?!, then why are you still fighting?!" Dorry: "It because we still do it for our honor as proud warriors of Elbaf." suddenly, a volcano erupted, and that was when Dorry got up, pulling out his sword. Luffy: "What's wrong?" Dorry: "That volcano's eruption is what we use as a signal for our duel, and now it's time for our battle again." said Dorry, as he left Luffy and Vivi, and into an open field where he and Brogy battle one another. As Luffy and Vivi watched Dorry, Nami and Usopp watched Brogy. Usopp: "Wow... they're so cool..." elsewhere in the jungle, Zoro looking for something that has a lot of meat, when he found what looked like Nami at first, but it was really some wax figure that was painted over, and that was when a figure came up behind Zoro and caught him in some type of wax. Back with the giants, they were still fighting each other until the volcano erupted again, which was the signal for the duel to end, for now at least. But once the giants were about to leave, they noticed that some sort of wax covering their legs, which was as hard as steel. Brogy: "Hey, what's this wax stuff?" Dorry: "Where did it come from?!" asked the giants, before the sound of someone laughing was heard, and out came a man with a hairstyle that looked like a 3, who was known as Mr 3 (voiced by Duncan Brannan), one of the Baroque Works agents, and stood next to him was a girl named Miss Golden week, who doesn't speak and a painter. Mr 3: "This would be my work, sorry for trapping you, but a man has to make a living, and the bounties on your heads are worth the trouble." Vivi: "That's... Mr 3!" Luffy: "So he's one of the bad guys that wanna kill ya?" Vivi: "Yes, I heard he has the power of the Wax Wax fruit... be careful, as he's also a sharp man too." Luffy: "So he has a sword?" Vivi: "No I meant he's really smart." Luffy: "Oh... why didn't you just say that?" this only made Vivi to face palm herself. Brogy: "Who are you?!, and what's with that silly hair cut?" Mr 3: "How rude!, there's nothing wrong with my hair!, and it's Mr 3 by the way, and I came for the bounties on your heads... and a certain group of pirates that has a princess with them." said Mr 3, while Nami and Usopp looking nervous. Nami: "He must be a Baroque Works agent... and he's here for us and Vivi..." Usopp: "Oh man... what do we do?" Nami: "I don't know..." said Nami, before Mr 3 continued to speak. Mr 3: "You know... I already caught one of the pirates, I just used a wax figure to look like one of them and Miss Golden week used her paints to make it look more realistic and once he had his guard down, I caught him in my wax... see for yourself." said Mr 3, before showing Zoro stuck in some wax. Luffy: "Zoro!, hey let him go you jerk!" Vivi: "Luffy no!, you'll give us away!" but it was too late, Mr 3 heard Luffy and turned around to see him and Vivi. Mr 3: "Well speak of the devil, I was just talking about you." Luffy: "Yeah, and I'm gonna kick your butt for messing with the giants' fight and kidnapping one of my crew!" shouted Luffy, before he run towards Mr 3, who seemed to be calm at the moment. Mr 3: "Miss Golden week, you know what to do." said Mr 3, before Miss Golden week took out a paintbrush and painted some mark on Luffy's back, which made him laugh against his will. Zoro: "What the heck is so funny?!" Mr 3: "Nothing really, you see Miss Golden Week can do special paints that can work like hypnosis on people." Zoro: "Hypnosis?!, well that's not good..." said Zoro, while Nami and Usopp were watching from a distance. Nami: "Great... that idiot doesn't stand a chance against that power..." Usopp: "Yeah... no kidding, he was helpless against Jango and his own hypnotic power..." said Usopp, as he gets a flashback to the time when Luffy and the others were facing Jango and Black cat pirates, and when Jango used some hypnosis on his crew to be stronger, Luffy got hypnotized too, and he would have defeated the pirates right away if Jango didn't put him to sleep. Luffy managed to wake up and got back to the fight before Kuro showed up, which was when the flashback ended and the scene came back to the present. Mr 3: "Let's face it Straw Hat Luffy, the man with the 30,000,000 berry bounty, I dealt with pirates that had higher bounties than you, and I still managed to win because of my intellect, and as long as I have Miss Golden Week with me, you can't fight back." said Mr 3, before a Pteranodon showed up and caught Miss Golden Week in it's beak, much to Mr 3's shock and horror. Zoro: "Well that was convenient... I guess." Nami: "That poor girl..." Usopp: "Yeah, but at least we don't have to worry about those paints of hers anymore." Nami: "Yeah... but still..." suddenly, Miss Valentine showed up and landed on the Pteranodon, freeing Miss Golden Week, who lands into Mr 5's arms. Mr 3: "About time you two showed up." Mr 5: "Show some gratitude, you would've lost your partner without us." Mr 3: "Yes I know that, thank you." Vivi: "Mr 5 and Miss Valentine?!" Mr 5: "Yeah, did you really think you could get away from us that easily?" while the Mr 5 pair and Vivi were chatting, Karoo rubbed off the paint on Luffy and the pirate got back to his old self. Luffy: "Okay, now I'm ready to kick your butts!" Mr 5: "I don't think so, Bomb booger!" shouted Mr 5, before he shoots a booger, which of course misses Luffy and hits Zoro instead, freeing the swordsman at last. Zoro: "Thanks, you saved me the trouble of freeing myself." Mr 3: "Ah!, you idiot!, you freed the swordsman!" Mr 5: "So what if I did, this would give me a chance to get revenge on the punks who made a fool out me and Miss Valentine back at Whiskey peak." soon, Nami and Usopp, who were spotted by Miss Valentine, were forced to join the fight with Luffy and Zoro, while Vivi does her best to fight back as well. While watching the fight, the two giants were amazed. Brogy: "They sure are brave warriors." Dorry: "Yes, like a true proud warrior of Elbaf, and seeing how the wax on the swordsman melted, I have an idea on how to free ourselves." said Dorry, before he grabs Mr 3 and placed the tip of the agent's hair, which was on fire like a candle, on the wax that was trapping the giants, freeing them at last. Mr 3: "Hey!, that's not fair using my hair to melt the wax!" Dorry: "You don't have the right to say what's not fair after you interrupted our duel." Brogy: "Yeah, it's time to get you all packing." said Brogy, before Dorry used his other hand to grab Miss Golden Week, and Brogy caught the Mr 5 pair, and then the two giants threw the agents out into the sky and out of the scene. Luffy: "Wow!, what a throw!" Usopp: "No kidding!, these guys are so cool!" meanwhile, Sanji was still looking for some meat, when he saw what looked like a little hut made of wax. He went inside and discovered a transponder snail ringing. He answered it and the caller turned out to be Mr 0, AKA Crocodile of the seven warlords himself, who was calling for Mr 3. Sanji tricked Crocodile to believe that he was Mr 3 and told him that the straw hats were dead, and then Crocodile told Sanji that he would send the unlucky pair to give him an eternal pose to Alabasta, which was when the call ended. That was when Mr 13, the otter, and Miss Friday, the vulture, came to the hut and attacked Sanji, who took them down without trouble. It wasn't long before he found the Eternal pose and went off to find the others. Back with the rest of the straw hats, Luffy and the others were in shocked by the news that Nami and Usopp told them about the log pose. Vivi: "We have to wait for a whole year for the log pose to reset here?!" Usopp: "I hate to say it, but yeah." Nami: "I hope Brogy didn't lie." Brogy: "It's the truth, it would be dishonor to lie such nice humans like you, even if we were pirates."Luffy: "You were pirates?" Brogy: "Yeah, long ago, Dorry and I were co captains of our own crew, I was known as the Red ogre while Dorry was the Blue ogre, and each of us had a 100,000,000 berry bounty, which was why that 3 guy wanted us." Luffy: "Whoa!, those are some big bounties!" Brogy: "Yeah, sorry that don't have a way for your log pose to reset faster." Dorry: "We do have an Eternal pose, but it goes to Elbaf." Vivi: "Oh no... by the time the year passes... my kingdom will be gone..." Usopp: "We would be dead here by then too..." that was when Sanji showed up. Sanji: "Hey, what's with the giants?" Usopp: "Sanji?!, where have you been?!" Sanji: "Well I was in some wax house and have a chat with Mr 0." All: "What?!" Vivi: "Mr 0?!" Sanji: "He was calling through a Transponder snail and I made him think I was this Mr 3 guy and told him we were dead, so he won't be sending anymore agents to go after us." Usopp: "Well that's good news... but we're stuck here as the log pose won't reset on this island until a year passes and we don't have an eternal pose to Alabasta..." Sanji: "Well... funny when you mentioned that last part." said Sanji, before showing the eternal pose to the group, which made them dropped their jaws to the ground in shocked. After a moment of silence, everyone cheered, and Vivi ran up to Sanji and gave him a big hug. Vivi: "Thank you so much Sanji!, you're the best!" Sanji: "It was nothing Vivi, happy to help~." said Sanji with his exposed right eye shaped like a heart and steam coming out of his nose and a goofy smile on his face. Suddenly, Nami felt like something bit her on the stomach, causing her to wince a little. Zoro: "Hey, are you okay?" Nami: "Yeah... some bug just bit me... probably a mosquito..." Zoro: "Hey cook, did you forget our little hunting contest?" Sanji: "No, but it looks like neither of us managed to catch anything due to what's happened." Brogy: "Hunting contest...?" Dorry: "Hunting contest..." Brogy: "Something about that sounds familiar somehow... Dorry: "Oh yeah!, now I remember why we had our duel!, we were trying to figure out which one of us had the biggest kill!" this caused a moment of silence before Nami and Vivi broke it. Nami and Vivi: "All those years of fighting... were about some stupid hunting contest?!, you men are all idiots!" shouted the two ladies, causing the men, including the giants to back off a little. Brogy: "Wow... those females sure can be scary when they get mad..."Dorry: "Yeah... never get on a lady's bad side..." some time later, the giants helped Zoro and Sanji get a kill, which was a T-Rex from the cook, and a Triceratops from the swordsman. Due to the dinosaurs being bigger than the Merry, they had to take some of the dinosaurs' meat and leave the rest behind. As the Going Merry sets sail, the two giants waved goodbye to the Straw hats. Dorry: "So long Straw hats!, good luck on saving the Alabasta kingdom!" Brogy: "If you ever visit Elbaf, tell our people that we're doing fine!" Usopp: "Sure thing you two!" Luffy: "See ya!" so with that, the Straw hats set sail, off to Alabasta in hopes to save it from Mr 0 and Baroque Works.
