Chapter 54: The Harem of Poison

(2 Days Ago at Diglett's Tunnel)

At Diglett's Tunnel on Akala Island, Kahuna Olivia and her partner Lycanroc were deep inside searching for something.

Olivia held a Lycanium Z while she walked deep into the tunnels with her flashlight. "We'll find one here. I just know it. Do you remember its scent, Lycanroc?"

Lycanroc nodded in agreement. Soon, it picks up something just a head. It ran ahead while Olivia was still walking.

"Lycanroc?! Did you find something?!" Olivia said as she chased after Lycanroc.

Soon, both Olivia and Lycanroc stood in front of a wall in the deepest cave of these tunnels. Lycanroc pointed in front of this wall.

"Here? Alright then." Olivia soon uses a shovel to dig through the wall. As she did, Lycanroc got in front and started digging with its claws. "You found it, Lycanroc?"

After a couple of seconds, Olivia sees something grayish-white sticking out. Lycanroc stops digging so Olivia can get it out. Olivia pulls it out to reveal to be a Sparkling Stone, but it wasn't just a normal one. It was the rarer variant used to make an upgraded Z-Ring that fits Z-Crystals like the Lycanium Z.

"We did it, Lycanroc! We found it!" Olivia shouted in joy. "Now let's get back to my shop so I can swap out the current stone on my Z-Ring."

(Kiawe's Farm, Akala Island)

After yesterday's fun everyone had at the water resort, the gang was having a relaxing day at Kiawe's family farm. The cousins were eating bowls of his family's famous ice cream. As they ate, they shared their story to why they came to Alola.

"This ice cream is the best!" Callie shouted as she rapidly took spoons of ice cream from her bowl. "And yeah! That's pretty much it!"

All of Ash's friends were speechless to hear their story about their time in Alterna.

"You all went to outer space?!" Sophocles shouted in disbelief. "Before I could even do so?!"

"Yeah! It was a scary but awesome experience!" Ash replied.

"And you battled a hairy monster and saved the whole world?!" Shouted Mallow.

"Unbelievable..." Lana whispered.

"I can tell why you wanted to take a break." Said Gladion. "Everything you've done and faced in Alterna must have been a lot to take in."

"Yeah, it was..." Callie said timidly. "But I'm sure a little break can't fix."

"So, what are we doing today?" Asked Marie.

"Tell me, these showcases of yours, what is the theme of the next one?" Asked Lillie.

"Well, Pearl told me she and Marina ended up losing the Fashion Showcase in Octopia..." Wondered Marie. "So maybe we need to work on our fashion or beauty."

"Well, Olivia, the Kahuna of this island, happens to be a jeweler." Lillie explained. "So I called her up, and she agreed to take us in for a little activity to make jewelry."

"Olivia? I happen to know a friend named Olivia back home. You say she specializes in jewelry? That's perfect. It's one of the key factors to fashion."

"I thought fashion was about looking your best for everyone?" Callie teased as she knew Marie's greed for money and expensive things.

"It is, but the most beautiful jewelry can also bring in some eyes as much as your look."

"That's something my mother would definitely agree with." Said Lillie.
