Chapter 46: To the Ruins of Alterna

Ash was on the ground, knocked out after a nasty fall down a hole. After a few minutes, he wakes up to see him and the rest of the gang in some sort of mysterious place. There were weird structures and machinery everywhere, the whole ground was fake snow, the whole place appeared to be in a large dome, and there was a huge rocket ship in the center. Soon, Pikachu walks over him.

"Pikachu, I'm glad you're okay. But, where are we?" Ash said before looking over everyone else. "Is everyone alright?!"

"Owe, my head..." Brenda said as she had her hand on her head. "Say, where's Cuttlefish."

Sure enough, everyone looks around and sees that Cuttlefish was missing.

Ash tries to think back to what happened while falling down. He remembered seeing a tentacle made out of ink snatch him while they fell through the hole. "I think he was taken."

"What do we do then? We don't even know where we are." Said Finn.

"This is Alterna." A voice said as Hallie suddenly approached everyone, wearing some torn up clothes. "Hey Ash, it's good to see you and Pikachu again."

"Hallie! It's you!" Shouted Ash.

"You all took a nasty fall. Follow me to the camp I set up."

After getting back up and making sure they have all their belongings, everyone follows Hallie to the camp. Upon arriving, everyone was relieved to see Callie and Marie there in one peace.

"Hey, guys! Over here! Whew! I'm glad all of you are alright!" Callie shouted in joy. She was wearing some outfit that strongly resembled her Squid Sisters outfit. She also had her right tentacle in front.

"Callie! Marie! You're okay!" Shouted Ash.

"Yeah, our clothes got a little ruined upon falling down here, but Hallie luckily had some spare outfit packed up." Said Marie. She was wearing an outfit that looked more unique, unlike Callie, who just had on another version of what she usually wears on stage. "What happened to all of you up there?"

"DJ Octavio showed up, and we took him down. Apparently, he didn't steal the Great Zapfish." Said Rider.

"Really? Then who did?"

"Have no clue." Rider said as he looked around the area. "By the way, your grandfather got separated on our fall here, so we've got to find him.

"And we better do so fast cause this place is huge, and it's filled with that horrible fuzzy ooze stuff."

Hearing about her grandfather made Callie's smile fall. She had not forgotten about what happened at the crater.

Marie noticed this and tried to lighten her mode. "Callie, I know you still feel upset at him, but you don't want him to get hurt, do you?"

"Well, he hurt me....." Callie said very timidly.

Marie can see the disappointment written all over Callie's face. She finally released all the negative emotions she's been holding in for so long, but now Marie fears that Callie would hate gramps forever. She had to do something to save the relationship between them.

As everyone was collecting their thoughts, Ash looked up at the giant hole they fell from in the sky. By the size of it, he wondered..... He pulls out his Rotom Phone and tries to make a call. "Come on, come on, please pick up....."
