Fifteen: Jeno's Date & Joshua's Schedule.
~Joshua's POV
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS, JOSHUA?!" Nonstop sermon from the one and only. When did she not get mad at me? I actually don't remember if she ever did stay calm in front of me.
"It's the contract," I answered back. "What else would I give you?" Her eyes sharpened. I noticed how her hand shook, she must be trying to stop herself from slapping me. I don't really care that much, though. She slapped me countless times before, would she stop now? I don't think so.
"FIX THIS! I NEVER TOLD YOU TO SELL THE RESORT!" I took my cellphone out of my pocket and dialed the number of the buyer. It didn't take long before he answered. (Hey, Joshua! What's up, mate?) I heaved out a sigh and I knew that he knew what I would say next.
"I'm taking back the resort, is that alright with you?" He laughed. (Of course! That's too bad, though. I really liked the resort.) I nodded even though he couldn't see me. "I'm truly sorry for this but I had to follow orders." He laughed again.
(No, no, no! Don't say that! I completely understand your situation being the heir and all that shit. I got the same thing going on here. But hey, don't worry. I won't remove my investments in the company! You're still my bud. Anyway, good luck!) Such kind words and loyalty for a business man in this generation.
"Thank you. See you next time," he hung up after saying his pleasantries. "You happy now?" I ripped the paper to pieces at saka ako naglakad papunta sa pinto but I guess she wasn't finished talking to me yet. "JOSHUA!" I turned to look at her.
"You are going to be the heir whether you like it or not. Do you understand?!" She said firmly. I didn't bother answering her or it'd just turn into another unfinished argument. I know I don't have a choice. She doesn't need to remind me about it again and again.
I slammed the door shut and walked towards the lounge. Sinalubong ako ng secretary ko. "Master, the prime minister wants to see you." I nodded and at that instant, I don't have to repeat myself in words because the secretary immediately understands. That's what I like about him. Hindi siya tanga.

"How are you feeling?" Van sat in front of me. She's Shelle's best friend and a very close childhood friend of mine. Ah... speaking of Shelle. I miss her so bad. I just finished my talk with the prime minister and I stopped by Vanilla's house before going back to work since she insisted and I had a good five minutes to spare.
"By the look you're giving, it seems you can't stop thinking about Shelle, huh?" I nodded. She took a sip from the teacup she was holding. What real British past time. I don't understand why she didn't inform Shelle about her leaving the country, though. I'm sure she has her reasons.
"I'm so busy that I don't even have the time to text her. I mean, look! This is the longest free time I've had in three days! Five freaking minutes!" Tinawanan lang niya ako as she put the teacup down. She clapped her hands and her personal bodyguard slash butler came in and walked towards her.
