i freed my hand from seungkwan's grip and ran away from the hall. straight into my car and then into the airport. ready to leave the country.
at least that's what i imagined. but my feet stayed glued to the floor.
his face lit up when he saw me. "oh hi i was searching for you." eunwoo waved his hand excitedly. from the corner of my eye, i saw the others steal glances at each other.
"hi arin" mingyu greeted. eunwoo turned to him in surprise. "do you know her?" he asked mingyu. "oh wait i forgot you worked with seventeen." he said to me answering his own question.
to my horror, the next thing he did was to leave mingyu's arm and pull me towards him, successfully overcoming seungkwan's grip on my wrist. he circled his arm around my waist. seungkwan was judging me so hard.
"she is the one i told you about." eunwoo told mingyu with a wink. "it's good you already know each other."
mingyu opened his mouth to reply but nothing came out. i was wondering what eunwoo had been telling him about me. if the situation wasn't awkward enough eunwoo spoke to jeonghan next. "hyung how do we look together."
i mentally facepalmed. seungkwan literally facepalmed.
jeonghan looked hurt. very hurt. i was sure he had moved on from me but seeing me with one of his friends probably wasn't very enjoyable. especially when i broke up with him because he was an idol. my current boyfriend was both an idol and actor. i knew jeonghan was probably doubting if there was another reason for our break up.
"you don't look good together."
chan gasped. other's had their mouth hanging open. eunwoo who had no idea what was happening seemed to be confused. suddenly jeonghan laughed. fake.
"i am just kidding you really suit each other." he tried to sound as cheerful as he could. "arin i didn't know you were dating" seungcheol appeared from no where. he looked offended on jeonghan's behalf.
eunwoo sensed the awkwardness and was looking at mingyu with curiosity. mingyu just shrugged not really knowing what to do.
"we weren't really in touch for an year." i laughed awkwardly indirectly reminding him that we weren't friends anymore. seungcheol looked annoyed at my answer. jeonghan placed his hand on his shoulder to calm him.
"arin let's go now" eunwoo finally said. "i want you to meet my friends." i nodded more than ready to leave seungcheol's sharp gaze.
"eunwoo i wanted to tell you about this but i didn't know you were friends with them." i said as soon as we were out of earshot.
"it's okay baby. let me guess the ex you told me about is seungcheol hyung?" "no." honestly it wasn't his fault. seungcheol was more possessive about me then even jeonghan was. "it's jeonghan"
eunwoo stopped in his tracks and looked at me in disbelief. "you are the one who cheated on him?"
