"Lora? You in here?" Ahsoka yells into my room as I'm in the refresher.

"Yeah, in here," I yell back. In just a second, she opens the door and leans against the doorframe.

I jump back in surprise as I hadn't thought she would just walk in and leave the door open. "I could have been naked in here?"

She just shrugs. "So?"

I roll my eyes and continue to brush through my hair. "What do you want?"

"So Padme just asked me to accompany her to a meeting between the Separatist senators and the Republic."

"And?" I ask, not seeing how that's relevant for me.

"It's held on Mandalore."

I instantly turn my head towards her. "Mandalore?"

She breaks out in a smile after seeing my reaction. "Yes. She asked if I thought you wanted to come along as well."

"What did you say?" I ask quickly.

"I said you would be delighted. I talked to Master Kenobi right before I came in here, and he said it was alright," she tells me.

"Great, when do we leave?"

"You're really eager aren't you? Someone certain you want to see?" She sends me a teasing smile. I roll my eyes with a smile before pushing her out of the refresher and telling her I would find her when I'm done. But she doesn't leave entirely. When I finally walk out, I find her sitting on the couch talking with Obi-Wan. She instantly notices me and stands up. "We leave in a few, I'll be right outside."

She leaves and my master stands up as well. "Be safe alright."

"Always, you know me, Master," I assure him.

"That's exactly why I'm telling you to be safe," he rubs his beard. "Also, if you have the chance, could you tell Satine hello?"

A smile breaks out on my face. "Of course."

"May the force be with you, Lora," he opens the door for me.

"May the force be with you too, Master," I walk out and join Ahsoka.

✥✥✥✥✥✥

Ahsoka and I are standing behind Padme's chair as she and two other Senators are seated in a row, facing them on the other side, three Separatist Senators. The meeting is placed in the Mandalorian throne room, with Satine sitting on her throne.

"The Republic recognizes the tragedy of war, but there is nothing we can change that has already occurred," Padme tells the Senators on the opposing side.

"Say it aloud before this gathering, as representative for Chancellor Palpatine, that you declare, without reservation, the Separatist state legitimate," one of the Separatist Senators demands. I look down to Padme to see her being divided in opinions and how to solve this conflict.

The doors suddenly burst open and a boy that looks around my age, maybe a year older or so, walks in. "I have something to say about the legitimacy of the Separatist."

"It's Lux Bonteri," a Separatist whisper. Lux Bonteri? Wasn't he the one Ahsoka met a while ago? He walks confidently from the door and all the way to the bottom of Satine's throne. And bows in front of her.

"You didn't tell me Lux Bonteri would be here?" I hear Ahsoka tell Padme.

"I didn't know," Padme admits, just as confused as everyone else in the room.

As Satine gives a go-ahead to Lux, he takes a place behind the podium that's placed in the middle between the two sides. "I stand before you, son of Mina Bonteri, loyal Separatist, a patriot, a friend." He looks at Ahsoka and I raise my eyebrow as I see her smile comfortingly back at him. "It has come to my attention that my mother was murdered by Count Dooku in cold blood!"
