"When did I ever say that?" I laugh as I take the last bite of my food.

"After we returned from that mission on... I don't remember where, but you said and I quote 'If you ever let me hanging from a rope, you owe me an milkshake.'"

"So? That was me, not you," I try to defend myself.

He smirks. "But after that, I said, the same goes for you."

"Do you have any proof of it?" I roll my eyes.

"That's not fair!" He exclaims. "You didn't have proof either two months ago. And I gave you the milkshake!"

"But I did have proof, I had my Master," I point at the man sitting beside me.

"Our Master, Lora, our," Anakin says.

"No, mine. I'm his padawan, not you." I give him a fake smile.

He shakes his head and looks down into the table. "For a little longer," he mutters.

"What did you say?" I ask him.

He looks up a little panicked. "Nothing.. I.."

"Anakin is just talking," Obi-Wan swoops in and saves his ass.

I gently slam my hand on the table so the other customers of Dex's diner don't get scared. "Alright, enough. The two of you have been acting so weird the past week, especially today. Out with it!"

"It's nothing, Lora," my Master tries to assure me.

I shake my head. "Nah, I'm not buying it."

"You don't have to." My Master shrugs. "But we should get back to the Temple now."

"But what about my milkshake?" Anakin asks.

"I will take both of you out for a milkshake tomorrow, alright?" My Master says just to shut him up.

"Fine," Anakin settles. The sun has begun to set. The last few sunrays escape down through the masses of ships flying over our heads, caressing our faces. It hits my chest right where my necklace with Jax's ring is. Things like these have happened a lot, I like to think it's him showing me he's always there. But then again, he's dead. As we enter the Temple, we head for Obi-Wan and I's quarters as that's where we spend most of our time, with Anakin. If he's not with Padme, he's with us. Not that I blame him, I'm wonderful company.

"Wait, I think I forgot something in the Council room, Lora, why don't you come with me?" My Master says.

"Okay..." I find it weird how he just suddenly remembered something just as we pass the hall where the Council room is. I notice how Anakin tags along, but he doesn't seem like he has any intention of going inside, staying further back than us.

The doors open, but instead of the Council room being empty like I had presumed, I find it being full with every member of the Council. I stop in my tracks confused.

"I'm sorry, did I interrupt something?" I ask them.

"No, you did not," Master Yoda assures me. But my confusion only grows as my Master sits down in his chair. What the-

"Padawan Lora, you have been called in front of this Council," Master Windu says.

"I have?" I mutter to myself.
