The damn forest again. My feet are aching. They have been torn bloody by everything in the forest ground. My lungs are heaving after air, more spent than ever after running every night for weeks. The more time I spend, the darker the forest gets. The louder the noises get. The closer the thing I'm running from gets. Suddenly I'm out of the forest. The hard ground beneath my feet turning into pavement.

"I know this place," I whisper to myself. The sky is red and orange, filled with smoke. The ground around me and as long as I can see is filled with crumbled bricks and shattered glass from the destroyed buildings.

The noises coming from behind stops, right behind me. With a shaky breath, I turn around. My fist is clenched in fear. A woman is standing behind me. She is dressed in a blood red coat.

"Who are you?" I ask her.

"Come home, Aelia, time is running out." She drags her finger down my face and shivers take over my body. "There is no more time. Come home!"

"I am home?"

All around me are suddenly standing multiple women, dressed the same. "No, come home!" They all speak with the same voice. My head is spinning. She places her hand on my chest, right above my heart. "Now!"

"Masters, I wish for permission to return to my home planet." I'm standing in the middle of the Council room.

"What for?" Master Windu asks. "There's nothing to return to." Beside me he's the only one that was there that day, the only person that has seen how my planet was destroyed.

"I had these dreams before, but they stopped after I temporarily left to protect... Senator Combhar. They have since returned. But tonight they were different, they told me to go home." The thought of Jax still makes me want to drop to the ground out of grief.

"Permission you have," Master Yoda says. "If bring a Jedi Master, you do."

My Master leans forward. "I'll go with her."

"No," Master Windu disagrees. "I'll go. I have been there before. I know what to expect."

"Decided it is then," Master Yoda says. "The two of you go now."

"Yes, Master." I bow before walking out of the room with Master Windu at my side.

"You do know that it might just be some dreams," he says.

I nod. "I know that, Master. But if there's any chance that my people might have survived. Then I have to know."

"I understand that, I just don't want you to hold out hope and then end up disappointed. I saw how your city looked when we left it."

"I know," I mutter. "But I need to know for myself."

"Is this the planet?" I ask him as we're flying towards a planet in our shuttle.

"It is," he responds.

I can't help but fidget with the necklace around my neck as we enter the atmosphere. It looks exactly like the dream I had. The orange and red sky filled with smoke. I recognise some of the buildings. A strange feeling runs through me.

"Do you feel that too?" I ask the Jedi Master at my side.

"Feel what?" He says. We land the shuttle and leave it. The air is thick. There's no sounds. No animals chirping or barking. Nothing. Simply silence. The first thing I notice is the lack of bodies. There's no sign of the massacre, only the ruble, but nothing besides that. I see the spot I left my mother in, but everything has been wiped away. No body, no blood.
