One step closer

It was very late when I got back home that night. Moonlight was streaming into my broken house and my mind was filled with New. After talking to him for so long, I realized one thing....he will do anything in his power to send me back. So I should be prepared for that.

Tomorrow I will try to talk to him again.

But when I woke up the next morning my neck was very itchy. There is no such thing as a mirror in this one-room house of mine. So I took the phone and turned on the camera and saw that my neck was completely red and there were small rashes on it. Now what's this! I went to the bathroom and splashed some water on it but the itchiness didn't gone a bit. I applied some ointment that I brought with me for minor cuts and injuries and went to work.

Today we started repairing the road near the temples. Just as they asked. I am determined to finish this before the required time to avoid any conflict with that lady.

I was having lunch with Somchan and others when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Did I ate something wrong! No, this food is what we usually eat here. Nothing ever happened to anyone. Today also everyone else is fine.

I woke up with a start when my stomach started to hurt again. I puked but nothing came out except bitter water. My head was throbbing continuously and I think I have a fever. I stood up with difficulty and came to the bedroom. The house has no electricity so generally I lit a candle when it was dark but today I couldn't do it so the only light source was moonlight. I took out the phone and saw the time.

11pm.

Huh! I was out for so long! That's why my body is aching so much. The floor was wet and I slept there for almost nine hours! It's not surprising that I have a fever!

I was about to sat on the bed when I suddenly remembered.

New! I was supposed to meet him at the cemetery! At 3 pm! Now it's 11! Shit! I don't know how long he waited for me! I should go there. Yes! I need to go there. I hastily put on my shoes with trembling hands and yank opened the door.

I stepped outside and saw the surroundings illuminated by the moonlight and a light breeze blowing. Someone was sitting on a rock by the stream.

He was looking down at the flowing water. From this distance I could not see his face properly but his bowed head and folded hands on his knees showed that he was deep in thought.
