When Chase gets put into the Adoption center, he is met with the femme who is going to teach him. This femme is planning to teach him how to be a good bot in society but will later be noticed by Chase for what she has done.

But who is she?

Before she worked at that place, she was working with another bot. She was trying to get this other mech to open up on what he had done and try to explain his emotions so there could be a reasonable solution.

The boy she was trying to pursue was a mech who was constantly hurt by his Sire both physically and verbally. his Carrier left to never return and his step-carrier that replaced her happened to be just like the sire. It all ended with the young one killing them both and being sent to the place Madame Ruby worked for the rest of his life (like, until the day he dies).

That boy who she originally dealt with was difficult for her, so when the opportunity for teaching Chase appeared, she took it without hesitation. She never liked that young mech, his name was also stupid too for her because the name Coral simply did not fit and would do anything to make sure no bot is corrupted by society and to be their purest form forever.

She was simply a boy who hated violence and would stop at nothing to prevent it, but she didn't realize the true darkness was inside her own spark. Luckily, Chase and Coral were the only two bots who ended up severely affected by her works despite her other teachings before them.

We already know where Chase ended up with his life from this (which is where the book will help direct it) but Coral?

Later in Coral's life, when the war began, those in the ward he was at were planning to join Megatron to bring fairness. He didn't agree and killed them all, where he met Optimus Prime and began his journey to become the great Ultra Magnus.

Although Ruby severely affected these two bots, they both manage to live past it and into a life of true justice.
