Blades, Chase and Boulder were very well aware when Heatwave's behavior seemed to change. They all thought it was only for a little bit of time but they noticed how it was never going back to how it was before.
It started with a smile, one which he had most of the time, which turned to barely any of it and then nothing at all. they noticed he was getting more irritated too, annoyed, even looking to be mostly angry no matter what was happening.
surely they all asked about it, but Heatwave really wasn't budging at all. Even though a creator visits the academy, they could even explain the behavior to Ratchet. Heatwave just seemed different and yet none of them knew why, it was strange and scary.
Ratchet did decide to confront him regarding the matter but Heatwave never answered him, which made the poor medic connect the dots and realize what had happened. Ratchet did inform the others of what could possibly be the answer, and did mention how it is possible Heatwave may remain such a way for a while until he copes with it, but just not to bug him about it.
There was some hope that Heatwave may come back from this fallout of events, they even all tried to prove that such a little thing shouldn't keep him stuck in some sort of sadness. in the long run, they would soon all realize they may never see that happy side to Heatwave ever again.
