Honestly, what did Ratchet expect when he left his own child in Orion's hands.
___________________________________________________________________________________________Orion lost him in a room full of records.
The room specifically was designated for old files, medical files that were no longer needed that needed to be wiped and fixed to be sent back to the medical bays. Orion goes there every once in a while to collect a box or two for handling while he is at his job or he goes there because more is needed to be added to the room.
Ratchet decided to drop off the boxes from his work, those which haven't been dropped off by his other co-workers because they were busy (honestly, were they? no.) he had to bring Blades along for the journey though as he got some vaccines that day and was very much too tired to head back to the little academy he was at.
There were four boxes, many more than Ratchet hoped for but he had to make two trips in order to get them all there. The original plan regarding it would be that Orion would watch Blades until he got them all there and they would go down together but no, that plan was thrown out.
"Orion, I hope you are kidding right now." Ratchet knows he is quick to lose his patience sometimes, and this was one of those cases.
"I am terrible at jokes, you know this." Orion replies, knowing exactly how upset his friend probably is right now. "I'm-"
"You can say sorry when Blades is found, Orion." Ratchet was seriously unimpressed as to what exactly Orion had done. "Now let's go find him."
The room wasn't big but it surely was tall, leaving them to split up to try and find the little bot faster. Ratchet knew the bot was tired so there was no way that little one would get far until he went down for a good nap.
something fell in the distance, Ratchet slowly went to investigate what it was and found a sight that truly left him in many questions. Orion was on the ground, a box on top of him, and laying right on the box was Blades, sleeping soundly.
"What happened?" Ratchet questions as he grabs the little one, clearly in a good deep nap because picking up the little one did not awake him.
"I have no idea how he got up there but I was only trying to get him down." Orion was able to get the box off himself, but still, he had to defend himself.
"Yeah, sure." Ratchet helps with getting the box back to where it was, being placed properly on the shelf it happened to be on.
They made sure to get all the boxes worth of stuff added to the mindless collection that was down there. It seemed that it would soon be overflowing at some point and Orion knew that it wouldn't be long before he was going to have to deal with all of it.
They all headed back upwards once they were done, traveling up the stairs to the main level of the building where they had entered as Blades peacefully slept along. Yet, as they had managed to get to the very top of them, it seemed there was something that had been forgotten.
"And before I forget." Those were Ratchet's words, right before he did what he had done.
Because of what poor Orion Pax had done, he took a nice tumbling trip right back down the stairs and now had to climb back up all over again.
