For one of their classes together as a team, the teacher physically had them not only wrestle each other but then wrestle other teams to see which teams were physically stronger. The idea indeed was said to be stupid by many but when having a free pass from running laps the next class, everyone was in for it.
Blades did not last that long in these fights, the poor medic of the team basically forfeiting by the first match against a bot that was not on their team. Heatwave still questions how Blades managed to beat up a bot back before the academy but now he is afraid of being served right now. Chase was floored that Blades even could beat up a bot, not believing a single word of Heatwave's interesting story while Boulder didn't really listen as he did not want to know.
Chase and Boulder both did fairly well, getting to be in the quarter-finals. Boulder got beat down from a bot stronger than him, but they were both good sports and somehow became friends afterwards. Chase physically did some awkward things that even had the teacher questioning what Chase grew up on, but he only got beat down because he really needed to not do the same moves every time.
Heatwave ended up being dragged out of there after one round because a hard punch physically dented his shoulder and also hit his helm rather hard. in the long run, they all did not get the pass for running laps the next class and when it came, it was pure torture.
