13: What Has Been Done - S

Chase didn't mean to do it, but he found out the consequences were not what he thought they were.

all he could see was energon.

all the blue seemed to be all he could see as he stared at his servos, part of him being absolutely frozen in place as he could hear the sounds of pedesteps slowly making their way towards him. he could feel the chunks, every piece as they were all slowly being coated in his own blood as well as the bits of metal flesh within his servos.

"Chase?" he could hear the call of his name, but still, he could feel the biggest fear attack him like a Predacon.

he already messed up so badly, being able to automatically know exactly the turn of events that would happen when she came into the room. He couldn't believe he had done such a thing, these bots were going to punish him, he was a disgrace.

Ruby knew it was a mistake for him to be adopted by two femmes, especially because she kept ranting on how he wasn't going to make it that far and eventually be right into the pits where he would remain forever, and that too was where she said he belonged.

he remembers exactly what happened that brought him to this moment, it was just him grabbing something. His adopted creators had said he could grab energon when he felt he needed it but happened to be too high to reach. while trying to get it, Chase accidentally had nudged a datapad off the ledge, smashing it to pieces.

He didn't even realize he was begging for some sort of forgiveness until he was full of tears as he was also keeping away so he wouldn't get taken away. He could feel himself backing up, being hoarded into a corner, not knowing what else to do.

Everything in sight was blurry, he noticed how many others swarmed around too, but he was too squirmy for them. He knows at some point he ended up blacking out but he knows he was in deep trouble once he got back to his senses and saw himself not at his 'home'.

"Will he be ok?" He could feel the fear coming back to him, but his body was too weak to even begin trying to run away, or even crawl.

"I've never seen a young bot react that way before, I have no idea what could cause such violent and scared behavior just from that." the medic responds, reading over all of what was collected.

"Will I be going to the pits?'' The room got very quiet when Chase said those words, almost as if something was a bit too wrong.

"Of course not, that is stupid." the medic says, definitely being quite honest with his words. "why would you assume something like that?"

"But, she told me that would happen." Chase was confused, what was really what he should know.

"who?"

"Madame Ruby."

and in that moment, Chase basically opened up an investigation.
