Chase finally meets his Sire again, but never did he wish it was like this.

Seeing his face only seemed to make it all worse.

He has no idea how the mech managed to find him, out of all places that Cybertron had to offer, he had no idea that it would've been here. The mech had already caused a crash for this whole commotion, on one of the busiest streets known to the city they were in, and law enforcement was still far away.

There he stood the purple mech, holding a sharp metallic blade, one that could easily silk through the metal of anyone's frame, right at Blades' neck. Fear was all Chase could feel at that very moment, after all they were the only ones there at that moment. Heatwave and Boulder both got lost somewhere in the crash, it was questionable as to where in the world they were.

"You know, I thought you would be happy to see me Chase," his Sire mentions, holding an evil smug on his face. "After all, I still remember how close you were with me in my first bittersweet moment of prison."

"I am not your sparkling anymore, Saech." Chase replies, which leaves the other in a bit of a stunned silence.

Chase never dared use his Sire's name too often, after all, his own name was simply just an anagram of his. Either way, he already has rejected his Sire long ago, leaving the mech before him as just a rogue criminal.

"I didn't think you knew my name." Saech responded, still holding onto Blades with the sharp knife. "Now, I'll make this easy. You hand yourself over to me and I will let your little mate go."

"You want me to hand myself over so you can kill me?" Chase asks, clearly knowing what the real deal was. "You just want me to avenge Carrier, because apparently I was the reason she died!"

"I never told you that." He says. "But that is the truth, so now don't fuss about it. Hand yourself over or he gets it."

There was silence, Chase unsure as to what he could do. Police were still too far to assist in this situation, and his choices still led to consequences that he didn't want to happen. Chase didn't want to choose, he couldn't, why did Blades have to get caught up in his own family drama?

Chase Blades and Chase were only trying to visit Heatwave at the med-bay, just wanting to check up on him since he went in for an appointment and now this had to happen on the way there.

"I know you only want to kill me but you don't have to do this." Chase says, unsure on what he could really do in the moment since there was still officers a long ways away, Saech's next words though were what really made that time stop:

"Thanks for the reminder."

Shots were quick to echo in the air, the horror really starting as Blades witnessed what he would say is his real nightmare of them all. He wanted to cry, scream, just looking at what happened made his insides squeeze into forms he would never believe to be possible unless he truly saw it.

Chase was quick to fall wounds and energon coating him as if it would eventually choke him right there on the street. it was clear that Saech was out for revenge for a femme he loved, and apparently, that revenge was to kill his own blood first.

It was so sudden, Blades surely would've screamed if something else hadn't happened. He was let go of, a random bot jumping from the scenes right at the psychotic purple bot, letting Blades to be let go off almost immediately.

Blades quickly hurried over to Chase, having to literally support the poor wounded bot as help was nowhere near the area. Time seemed to move slower than before, but even with that, Saech was dropped to the ground unconscious from his lost fight against a random stranger.

"What?" Blades was confused as this stranger seemed to turn around, but Chase's optics seemed to light up upon seeing who it was.

"Y-You gave me that duck." Chase surely couldn't believe it was that mech, the one who gave him that duck so long ago in prison and then sent it once more to him through the mailing system. "Y-You saved me, again."

"You do remember me." Blades was very confused on how Chase knew the bot but he decided to not ask as it was not great timing. "You have seen better times."

"Yes, but aren't you going to end up back in jail?" Chase wheezed the last part out, the sounds of rushing forces coming in to help fix the chaos that has been made.

"I might but it's ok." Chase watched as the mech slowly went over, calling out to their location so Chase could get help on time.

help did arrive on time, cuffing Saech and the other mech and making sure to get Chase and Blades somewhere near medical aid. Boulder was somewhere in the chaos but in the long run, they all still ended up at the same medical bay Heatwave was at so it wasn't a complete waste.

As it turns out, Saech was given the death sentence for the very next solar cycle.
