A crisis has happened, which has brought some panic.

it was the last thing anyone on Cybertron would expect, after all, it was something that was pretty uncommon to deal with,

Everyone knew what solar flares were, being something that only happened on the planet once in quite a few billion years (they assume, not real record of that). they were not close to a source of heat, a light like the sun, that was very much far away, being pretty much a star to them.

a giant flare hit some of the planet as it was rotating as it normally does, the mass of its flare and amount knocking out many cities quite literally. not only did it affect the power of multiple places but the whole thing brought nearly a million bots down.

Boulder remembers parts of it.

It had been a normal solar cycle, that is what it was at first. He was walking along with his creators as they had to run a couple of errands, and the young bot wanted to come along for the sake of it. Everything was pretty much fine, until the wave hit.

The moment it hit seemed like it was both at super speed and slow motion, seeing how bots were affected left and right as they all crashed on the streets and into buildings, some simply dropping where they were and electricity flaring all around. It was a crazy moment to live through but all could say there was definite pain.

Boulder remembers the severe pain that jolted his small body, something that affected him much greater due to his youth. he felt dizzy and tired once it was over, feeling like he was aching, not to mention that he simply felt like he was going to pass out. he could hear the sounds of crashing too, as if the damage wasn't going to end, clearly meaning there was going to need multiple bits of help to try and fix it.

everything was jumbled, screaming, crying, tons of yelling and overall just being chaos. Boulder remembers that he was out of it, not being able to respond as he kept hearing his own name calling out, but it was quick to go dark and numb after a bit.

Many bots from other cities had to come out and help, trying to find everyone who was alive as well as figure out who needed to be treated for any injuries. Many did end up dying from the event, many more injured physically and some were mentally not ok. parts of places were in wrecks from the crashes and the pulses of electricity that fired around, which would lead to a long whiles worth of rebuilding.

Boulder woke up in a medical bay, both of his creators hugging him almost immediately after they noticed he was up. it was clear to tell they had been worried, even though they clearly had welds on themselves from what happened.

"thank goodness you're alright, you had me worrying to death!" Boulder's sire hugged him. She seemed to have a heavy weight lifted off of her now, despite all that happened. "thank goodness you weren't alone when it happened!"

"You gave us a fright when you passed out there." Boulder felt the nice embrace as his Carrier joined in on the hug that was happening. "She is right though, we would've been more terrified if you didn't come with us for those errands."

The event did still leave him a bit scared but Boulder was happy that he still had his family, and that he wasn't alone through that time it all happened.
