So even though Ratchet had some time off to be woth Blades, he did end up having to go back to work (at a new job, thanks to Orion). There were multiple days in which Orion simply couldn't watch Blades, and Ratchet's ceators sure put their pedes down to say that they weren't in charge of that. He was too young still at first for any babysitter, and so, it now was time to be creative.
Ratchet built a little carrier, a little seat to carry Blades around while keeping him away from everything the bot might try and touch or eat. Since this method had zero hazards to it in the department Ratchet was working in, it was certainly allowed that Blades could be there.
Even with that, there were multiple occasions of it disappearing. Blades was indeed an adorable sparkling, a joyful little thing that truly seemed to bring much worries away, which made him a good one to go to to brighten up the day. A ton of Ratchet's co-workers would sometimes take Blades to the breakroom and they would all be in there playing with him, which actually boosted some moral somehow.
The co-workers were extremely nice too, which made it a bit annoying for Ratchet and also raised the question how the sparkling was related to a bot like him. Either way, the invention was truly something that ended up being a good sucess and Blades sure didn't seem to mind of being in it.
There was so much crying that day he was out of that little carrier.
