It wasn't long after their graduation when they ended up getting their new and improved spaceship, and they were very entitled to make sure nothing bad was going to happen to it like the last one.
They made sure it was in peak condition, Boulder still computing the name into it so they could simply call it by that name despite it being a ship brand called 'Sigma'. There was still waiting time before they would actually be asked to be put into space patrols since they would need to be used to the ship again and practice with their controls but at least they had a ship now.
In the meantime, they still had to deal with all of the rescue that they could do on Cybertron until that time came along. Surely, the rescues that they were going to have to deal with were more likely going to get on their nerves and probably make them regret their own life choices until the day they were all dead but they could handle it.
as it turns out too, thank goodness they were only doing Cybertron related patrols since there was a couple of bugs with the ship and it could've made their trip to space one giant disaster and apparently would've blown up their ship for the second time (thank goodness that didn't happen because they would all be tripping out), but luckily that was fixed.
they will soon have their time in space.
