Oh my goodness, I feel like I abandoned this book for a moment and I posted over ten chapters to make up for it. Anyway, I have like fourteen more to go, might be slow getting them here but once this is done, I'll be trying to complete another book.

Even with them getting used to their spaceship and whatnot, they ended up being assigned some sort of little mission to fulfill to see what they needed to work on. The academy thought the mission was something little and it did sound like it was something little but it was actually much more than they accounted for.
In the long run, multiple other rescue forces ended up having to deal with it and come and save them because Chase and Blades were about to be sacrificed, Heatwave was stuck in a jail and Boulder was randomly put into an arena. As it turned out, the place was in violation of multiple different crimes and there were over 100 that were arrested because of it.
surely it seemed everything was fine once they were rescued but there was a mech trying to flirt with Chase (and Blades nearly would've ripped off the dude's head if Boulder wasn't holding him back) despite the fact Chase had mentioned he was uninterested the first time he put out a cheesy and disgusting line. Heatwave thought there was a femme trying to flirt with him even though she was really only trying to be nice and help him, and that simply made everyone awkward.
They were all at least happy to be rescued though.
