Heatwave really did not know the full amount that was lost from him, Ratchet proving this with an entire list of what it as the bot had removed for what reasons and even the most recent body scan they had of him.
The first thing listed there had a name which no bot could probably ever translate or even pronounce in the Cybertronian language. In simple terms, it was the part that filtered any altered energon that was not pure. According to it, Heatwaves was ultimately removed as it wasn't working at all, but it also led to other items being removed too.
his ports were taken out as well, this happened because they had to remove all other reproductive aids within him as no other fluids could be produced for them. keeping them in him was listed to be useless and probably lead to a removal later on in his life so they took it out at same time they removed the other parts.
Heatwave was also missing a random bit in his frame in his one servo, surely he had no idea about this one since it is actually very random. It first seemed like nothing but that part is actually what also helps to allow his ports to work, but was removed since his ports were being taken out and that part could lead to a bad possibility.
Heatwave was still shattered regardless, he didn't even realize the bright and somewhat happy mood he had was slowly starting to vanish away. Ratchet would've tried to cheer him up but even he knew Heatwave had every right to be upset, after all, he was left in the dark for a very long time.
