Chase really needs to remember to sleep.

It was rough.

Chase surely felt like he was going to crash after the rescue that just went down, a rescue which lasted nearly the whole solar cycle. they didn't have much rest at all when they were called to assist, not to mention it was a disaster through most of it.

he had to finish up this report though, one which was in need of completion especially after what he had to deal with. His systems felt like they were barely going, he already knew Boulder and Heatwave went for their much deserved recharging time, but he had to get this done before he could do any of that.

"Chase?" Blades calls out, entering the room so suddenly.

Blades was exhausted both physically and mentally, he had to deal with a ton of bots who were really trying to fight him (which he really does not like) and he had to make sure he wasn't going to break down while on the job.

Blades knew he called Chase awhile ago to get some sort of rest before they were about to get harassed with another rescue, but the bot never ended up showing up. Blades knew he could've easily gone to sleep but he had to know whether or not Chase fell asleep at the desk.

"Blades, what are you still doing up?" Chase could've sworn the bot was resting this entire time so it surely was a shock seeing him awake. "Didn't you go to recharge?"

"Yeah, a while ago." Blades come closer, seeing the progress made. "Chase, you are still at the same spot you were when I went into the other room!"

Chase looks at the screen, only just realizing that the screen was still the way it was way long ago when he had the strength. He could've sworn he had written more in the time Blades left him, but looking back, he wasn't fully sure.

"I think someone needs to stop looking at the screen." Blades says, almost hinting at the fact he wants some company that is not here.

"Blades, I actually need to finish this though." Chase tells him, not even realizing that his frame is trying to put itself into recharge.

"Sure, if you really had the strength to do so." Blades could easily tell Chase was very tired, body looking a little too weak to do anything. "You are going to recharge."

"Blades, you can't make me do-THAT!" Chase was alarmed as Blades somehow had the strength to lift him bridal style, finding himself really unable to fight to get himself back into the chair. "I'm not moving, am I?"

"Nope." Blades watched the entire thing, questioning to himself if Chase was officially being delusional now with how little rest he has. "Now, off to recharge!"

Chase really tried to fight it, noticing how his frame was clearly not doing any of what he was thinking it was planning to do. He felt rather tired though, surely enough, it was rather difficult just keeping his optics on.

Blades opened the door with his foot, making sure to not drop Chase at all. He went along to the berth to place the blue bot on it, seeing that Chase was very much down deep into recharge even before he was given a blanket.

"He's finally out?" Blades nearly jumps at the sound, then looks to find Heatwave in the doorway.

"Yes but what are you doing awake?" Blades questions. "Didn't you head in to recharge awhile ago?"

"Yeah but the monitor Chase works on is so loud it keeps me up sometimes." Heatwave says honestly. "Well, goodnight."

Heatwave went on his own way for recharge and surely enough, Blades went on to soon head into his own.
