Starlight made sure to give Heatwave many good memories and words of advice to follow once she realized she was eventually having to quit her job.
She told Heatwave she was simply moving locations, despite this big lie, she made sure she spent every moment she could with the little bot and carried as many words of wisdom with him as she could.
She sang multiple melodies, read him many stories of the history of Cybertron and the many wars the world has faced, played different games with him, even showing him how to dance as some sort of joy. Heatwave never talked at all though, which was what she hoped to hear before she left but he seemed to rather enjoy everything she showed him.
When it came down to her last and final day, she made sure to head back to where Heatwave last spoke, handing him the Safroniale Bowestra again like she did a long time ago, and the two sat there in pitiful silence. she made sure to tell him something, something that he listened to constantly:
"There can be a million bots who may fight for your love but you can always tell which one you want from them. they will know you for who you are and not who you are always seen for, they will get you the things that you have always wanted in life as well as be the only thing that can make them who they want to truly be. it seems impossible to find but it may be right in front of you, it will take time and you will eventually meet them."
Her shift ended for the final time and as a medic took over and she had to leave, she told Heatwave that she loved him, something she said constantly because she always saw him as her own child. She never heard a response back as she left the premises for good but a little while after he said it back in a mutter, then continued to remain silent as she was gone.
