Heatwave is left broken once again.
__________________________________________________________________________________________Heatwave was quick to head out into the acid rains, something which he would play in for several hours if he could. He always found something nice to do, despite how bad those rains could actually be, and being out there for a quick five minutes felt like no time at all.
he remembers when he first saw those rains, remembering how he took a peek outside and the next thing he knew, he never wanted to leave. he remembers how Ratchet found him playing out there but had brought him inside, eventually giving him that five minute rule to follow so his young self would not get sick.
"Don't you want to come and play?" Heatwave asks, almost ecstatic about the feeling that is on his frame as the rain trickles down.
"Playing in that is a deathwish you know." Heatwave was nearly taken aback by the comment by his courter, watching as the mech scoffed. "that stuff is disgusting and ruins your frame, get out of it already."
"It wouldn't be bad if we were only out here for a little bit." Heatwave explains. knowing of his limit. 'Besides, in such little moments, it feels awesome."
"Going into the acid rain is a death wish and I didn't think you had one." Those words stung hard, something Heatwave never thought of.
Heatwave never saw the rains as a death wish, in fact, he never had a plan such as that. He loved the rain, he remembers how Starlight had shown him the beauty of it every time and it reminded him how he would find his real love, his true companion.
This made him pause, making him silently question himself until he just nudged it off, knowing that this mech he was with was a bot he could see being with for a long time. As he went to look to find the mech though, part of him planning to head inside, he found himself alone, no one else in sight.
Heatwave wondered where he went, vanishing so quickly back inside of the academy. Heatwave found himself searching the halls in question, not finding too much as to where the mech had gone all of the sudden.
"I told you that you should've broken up with that mech." That voice, Heatwave knew who it was, a voice he was mere enemies with.
"You're better though." Heatwave found himself rushing to turn the corner, the voices, their words, it all seemed like a possibility he didn't want to know of.
he turned the corner, the sight of what he found making him lost as to what to do next. his processor felt foggy, his spark felt as if it was going to burst out of his chest. Everything seemed to be all blurry as part of him tried to walk out of the room, hearing a voice follow behind him.
When everything seemed to clear up he could see a mech in front of him, one he didn't recognize. this mech looked like he knew Heatwave though, almost reassuring him, but the red bot couldn't help but be confused.
"Heatwave, it wasn't what it looked like-" Heatwave made a quick run for it, not knowing what was going on but all he wanted was to get out of there.
He was quick to get back to the dorm room, placing himself into one of the closets and locking himself inside. He couldn't help but be sad, knowing the mech who was trying to help him but his memories were all gone.
Why did it have to be this way?
