Apparently, they need to name the spaceship.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________"It's so big!" Blades comments as he goes to see the full scope of the beautiful ship they were just given. "We own this giant thing now?!"
"It isn't that big." Heatwave comments, almost as if he really wants to spoil the fun now. "doesn't every force have the same one?"
"I believe so." Chase resods, coming closer to see more of the ship up close. "How exactly are we supposed to tell our ship from the rest?"
"I can program our voices to it and give it a name so it turns on or does certain functions when we call the name." Boulder says, knowing that cannot be too confusing for them.
"I'm sorry, you want to name our spaceship?" Heatwave would've held up a giant red flag if he had one on him right about now. "that is like naming our vehicle forms, not to mention-"
"Oh, we should give it a name!" Blades stops Heatwave before the bot can interrogate further on some sort of denial. "we'll make it unique, something nice, like......"
"Although a cool name would probably be nice for the name of this aircraft, I think the name should be something not completely obscured." Chase points out, knowing for a fact they might end up looking ridiculous if they named their spaceship some random name. "We can also give it a name which we summon it by but refer to it as another name when around others."
"I think that is a little too complicated." Boulder says, already starting to think about what programming he will have to do in order for this to happen. "Does anyone have a good name though?"
"I am trying to think of many right now." Blades was already typing an entire list onto a datapad to then see which one would eventually be chosen somehow. "Does anyone else have any good suggestions?"
"I debated to name the ship after our force name "Sigma Seventeen', after all it makes the most sense-"
"Chase, that is one terrible name to give a spaceship." Heatwave decides to say, not fully approving the ideas that are going down.
"Hey, I thought you didn't want to name the spaceship." Blades says, trying to catch this bluff that has been presented before them.
"Listen, I don't want to name it." Heatwave explains to them, still checking out the outside of the ship. "You guys can name it but it better not be something completely ridiculous that I will have to get rid of the name entirely."
"And what should the names not include?" Chase asks, just so then the name isn't something that will be very much hated by Heatwave that they then won't have a name to use.
"If it has something to do with things that make others happy, I will purge my tanks." Heatwave opens the hatch to check on the inside of the ship out too.
"I think that was half of the ideas Blades had." Boulder comments, almost knowing that was the case.
"There goes nearly all of my ideas!" Blades then starts to complain silently as he deletes most of the ideas he had just stored up.
They all did end up exploring the ship while trying to find a name that was going to work for all of them, leading to the main discussion being that and not what cool items there were inside the ship itself. in the long run, they finally ended up picking out a name for their spacecraft, only after three solar cycles of trying.
