Heatwave witnessed an actual disaster.
__________________________________________________________________________________________Heatwave was only walking the halls, tired from the intense class he had to be a firefighter. Despite everyone in that class being quite strong, it did not mean they could all lift two heavy practice dummies to safety, in fact, it was difficult lifting one of them.
so he was walking, all his joints aching, screaming at him to stop and rest. he was happy to now have the rest of the solar cycle off to complete work and lay down for a bit. he could rest now in the silent and basically empty hallways that he is walking in, but a berth was certainly much more comfortable than those floors.
As he turned the corner, he noticed out of the corner of his optics that there were two others in the middle of the hallway. part of him would've been too tired to deal with it but they were in the middle of the thing and Heatwave would've walked right into them, so as he looked up, he noticed who was there.
Heatwave was quick to freeze in his place, witnessing what he could call a horror movie. his books were quick to drop out of his servos and right onto the floor with a clutter, watching what may become his worst nightmare.
Chase and Areola were kissing.
looking at it though, he noticed something off. surely neither of them noticed he was there but he didn't know exactly what to say. Chase seemed offended? Shocked? or maybe it was disgusted, Heatwave couldn't fully tell.
Chase surely seemed unsure of what to do as well. He had his optics wide, staring at her, but he wasn't even trying to stop it. Was he too floored to do anything?
"Chase?!" Heatwave had no idea exactly how he managed to make that word but still, this vision is now stuck in his processor forever.
Areola was quick to stop her actions, Chase looking to be extremely grateful that someone had intervened. It was still very questionable as to what happened, but the smug grin Areola seemed to have on her face was not only off-putting, but would more than likely explain what was going on.
"thank you for adding your terrible smile to the list of ugly things about you." Heatwave remarks coldly, too tired to deal with such a terrible femme like her right now. "I assume you have better things to do than harass mechs all the time?"
"I'm surprised you aren't running out of here crying." she answers back, but as she makes this note, Heatwave notices something much more. "Oh, finally planning to cry out all your energon?"
he still didn't know what her motive was, but what he saw made him completely forget it. part of him was left in shock, knowing the feeling he has felt many times as he witnessed it, and it seemed quick to have everything fall apart.
"Chase....." it was Blades, who looked horrified and broken by what he saw. As he ran off crying, it almost was certain he saw Chase kissing Areola and by the distance, he may have no idea it was something the blue bot never wanted.
Boulder even watched Blades run off, unsure if he should go and follow or simply stay behind to figure out what was going on. Chase was too stunned, clearly seeming upset in his own way as he stood there. Heatwave didn't know what to think, not doing anything as Areola shrugged and walked off.
something clearly wasn't right, and it needed to be fixed.
