As Tatsumo and Kinoshiba clashed, it caused the wind around them to be forced away and blow fiercely. Kinoshiba's eyes continued to glow, however Tatsumo's condition wasn't getting better. Kinoshiba had already regenerated all of his injuries and Tatsumo was starting to struggle. He would need more time in order to stabilize the breakage on his rib and then it still wouldn't be good enough for him to fight properly, so he would have to manage. Tatsumo's guard pried open after seconds of trying to battle against Kinoshiba's strength and he immediately retreated back, holding onto his side and still holding his Katana in his hand.

[Kinoshiba] What do you expect to do now? I assume your rib is broken, and your side isn't going to help you either.

[Tatsumo] You think that's enough to stop me?

Tatsumo was breathing deeply, and he continued to hold onto his side while generating energy in his palm in order to stabilize his injuries. The golden glare in his eyes grew stronger as he closed his eyes and opened them again, penetrating Kinoshiba deeply with it. This however had yet to startle him, but it was to show that Tatsumo still wasn't going to give in.

[Tatsumo] Don't think you can take it easy now, these injuries are nothing. Because the second you let your guard slip even the slightest...

Tatsumo appeared in front of Kinoshiba extending his katana; Kinoshiba tilted his head and slipped past the strike and attempted to kick Tatsumo, but he caught it with his hand.

[Tatsumo] ...that will be your mistake.

Kairo was still tied to the chair, screaming in agonizing pain as Kyutaro slid a dull knife along the skin on his knuckles back and forth, making it tear every so often rather than cut. He also jabbed at his side using it, and it pierced through his skin due to the force, but sometimes it took multiple attempts.

[Kyutaro] Don't worry, today will be your last day of this grueling hell. Tomorrow, you'll say goodbye to Muigetsu, then you as well will join him.

[Kairo] No, please! Don't do anything to him!

[???] *inaudible* *whispers*

An intense ringing sound and deafening started to occur in Kairo's ears and his head was throbbing with intense pain. He hollered out, and closed his eyes as his face scrunched up. Seconds later, everything ceased and it was back to normal, Kyutaro looking Kairo in his eyes as his vision came back to focus.

[Kyutaro] Are you alright?

[???] *inaudible* *whispers* ...*laughing*

The paranoia kicked in and so did the panic. Fear overflowed in his body like pouring a glass of water and watching as it spilled out onto the counter when the glass became full. Uneasy breathing, then hyperventilation occurred, screams of pure terror erupting out of Kairo's mouth.

[Kyutaro] *chuckling* It'll all be over soon.

Kinoshiba v.s. Tatsumo

Tatsumo's speed and strength had yet to digress during the fight, in fact, even after the blows he took, it only got stronger. Tatsumo struck and traded off with Kinoshiba, managing to land small strikes that Kinoshiba would heal almost instantly and he evaded Kinoshiba's strikes whenever they would come his way.

[Kinoshiba] Akuma no Kengen, Akuma no ha mai.

Two small red glowing pentagrams were carved into Kinoshiba's palm. Out emerged two long and curved swords with a dim red outline of energy coating them. He crouched down and with fluidity, he sprung forward spinning around and clashing with Tatsumo's blade. He completely shattered through Tatsumo's guard, causing his hands to fly into the air and he sliced, Tatsumo desperately trying to apply force and parry the attack but his arms were sent flailing once again due to the force. Kinoshiba then slid back and crouched down, holding the swords in a high stance, closing his eyes.
