Things get serious: The past presents itself again

[Kotaro] You know what our goal is here.

[Rintatsuchi] Of course.

[Kotaro] Are you ready, newbie?

[Rintatsuchi] Just give the signal.

Kotaro held up his hand and they both rushed into the mansion along with a ton of underlings.

The sacred room

[Kairo] How many of them are there?!

[Katoichi] Defend this place with your life, be ready to die here?
[Both] DIE?!! W–w-w-w-w-w-WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!!

[Katoichi] Keep your guards up.

[Kairo] Wait wait wait wait! This is some kind of joke right? You're kidding right?

The battle was commencing, Katoichi was completely serious.

[Kairo] No way! You're totally serious about this?!

[Katoichi] They've made it, they shouldn't be able to break through.

[Muigetsu] A-and what if they do?

[Katoichi] We...Fight.

All of the footsteps came to a halt and the whole room became silent.

[Kotaro] Step back everyone. Place your sword there, Rintsu.

[Rintatsuchi] Alright.

Rin stepped forward and placed his sword into the stone.

[Rintatsuchi] You sure that this is enough?

[Kotaro] I got this, just stand back.

Kotaro kneeled down and held his hands forward. He closed his eyes and chanted.

[Kotaro] Jōshō, kakō, hakai. Kono sekai wa owari ni chikadzuite iru. Shikashi, atarashī toki ga kuru koto e no kibō ga ari. Sō sureba, konoyo no hitobito wa horobirudeshou. Akeru!

The stone rose up, fell to the ground, and shattered. The ground below started rumbling and on the wall ahead of them, a pentagram appeared and the whole wall shattered into pieces. Upon this, Katoichi's expression completely changed into utter shock and panic.

[Kairo] Katoichi?! What's the matter?

The two men approached the group.

[Muigetsu] What's going on Katoichi?! Speak up!

Rintatsuchi and Kotaro walked towards them while Katoichi couldn't say a word. His breathing got heavy as he got nervous. He backed up slowly, shaking, not knowing what to do.

[Kotaro] What's the matter Kato? What's with that look on your face?

[Katoichi] *heavy breathing* Stay back.

[Kotaro] We're just here to collect those items, don't get in our way and everything will be fine.

Katoichi's breathing became unsteady and he began to panic.

[Katoichi] Riaritiwāpu!

Everything inverted and the room got cold. Kotaro lunged forward and grabbed Katoichi by the neck, ending the attack.

[Kairo] *in his head* Who is this guy?! He just stopped the attack just like that?!

[Kotaro] *laughing* Didn't you hear what I said?

Katoichi was sweating, he clenched his fist and punched Kotaro but he barely flinched and took the strike. He threw Katoichi into the wall and walked forward towards the items. Kairo and Muigetsu stopped them in their paths then drew their swords. They activated Shūchū and prepared for the strike.
