It was a dark room, pitch black darkness. Kairo's head was throbbing and there was not enough air circulation. His entire body was filled with sweat and he felt as if he had just woken up from a dream. He had no idea of what he just dreamed about, but it all seemed real.

[Kairo] *breathing heavily* *sweating* What the hell was that? Where...am I?

Kairo tried to move but he couldn't, it was as if he were strapped down onto something. It was too dark for him to see anything, as much as he tried to, he couldn't make out anything.

[Kairo] What's this?!

Kairo struggled and tried, but he couldn't break free.

[Kairo] Am I still dreaming? What's going on?

Kairo's body was extremely weak and he could barely move correctly. Following this, seconds later the door in front of him opened, letting in some light. A switch was flipped and the room lit up instantly, but not all the way. The light was dim, leaving the corners of the room dark, only enough to light up the center and around. Kairo was shirtless and had no pants on, he was strapped to a chair with chains and belts and he was sweating from head to toe. Slowly, walking into the room, a familiar face came through that caught Kairo's attention immediately.

[Kairo] You...

The boy revealed himself completely and walked towards Kairo very slowly.

[Kyutaro] Good morning Kairo!

[Kairo] Kyutaro...

[Kyutaro] Ah, I see you remember me from Monkai. It's been quite some time hasn't it?

[Kairo] *irritated* What the hell do you want?

Kairo started to struggle again in an attempt to free himself from the chains.

[Kairo] You bastard...release me from these chains!

[Kyutaro] No can do! If I release you from these chains, you'll just try to kill me.

[Kairo] So you're just a coward? That's why you have me like this.

[Kyutaro] *smiling and chuckling* Hmmf! You're not all I have here.

Kyutaro held a remote in his hand with a couple of buttons on it. He pressed one that lit up the light to the room next to him that was blocked off by a wall of glass. Inside revealed another person in the same state as Kairo, except his ears were blocked by a headset of some sort so he was unable to hear.

[Kairo] *flabbergasted* M-Muigetsu...

[Kyutaro] Here I have your good old pal. That glass there is one sided so we can see him, but he can't see us.

Muigetsu looked around the room and struggled to get out of the chair, but he couldn't. Kairo did the same, more violently and aggressively, but nothing was working.

[Kyutaro] It's no use, you won't be able to break free. Those chains are stronger than steel and your body is too weak and injured for you to do anything.

[Kairo] *enraged* Why are we here?! What did you do to us?!

[Kyutaro] Well you see, after that little scuffle of yours with my partner, you passed out.

Flashback

Kairo and Muigetsu laid on the ground, unconscious and unable to move. Kotaro's body had already begun to go cold and he was unresponsive. Kyutaro was running ahead, leaving a trail of electricity behind him. He saw the condition that they were all in and quickly reacted. He cocked his arm back and balled his fist. Electricity surged and he lunged forward, into the air, and slammed his fist onto Kotaro's chest, causing his heart to restart and beat again and air to flow in his lungs. He placed him on his back and grabbed Kairo along with Muigetsu as well, then sprinted off.
