Sacred Killers - Akuma no yoru

Kodai - Somewhere a dark forest...evil spirits lurking

A man, who looked to be around 30 or over in age, wandered around a dark forest. He could hear voices all around him and everything was lit by the dim moonlight of the full moon. 

[???] Well, where the hell am I now?

His eyes are closed, probably due to his lack of vision. However, he can sense something lurking in the shadows behind him.

[???] *sigh* There's that presence again, who may that be? If only I could see where I was.

He continued to wonder until he heard something whisper his name in the distance. "Jouzen.." He quickly realized that something, or someone was after him.

[Jouzen] *aware* I sense you, there's no point in hiding. You might as well show yourself, even though I may not be able to see you.

Whatever or whoever it was revealed himself. Jouzen turned around and sensed the shape of his body and could make out an image of who was in front of him.

[Jouzen] You must be from an enemy clan. What business do you have with me?

[??? Ryuu] I'm from the kuroi ryuu (Black dragons).

[Jouzen] I see...

[Ryuu] You were just at the old shrine a couple days ago.

[Jouzen] So you're here to fight because I killed one of your men?

[Ryuu] I'm not here to fight, I'm just a messenger. Don't ever cross our territory again, or it'll be your demise.

[Jouzen] Hmmf...

The man disappeared into the shadows and his presence faded away. Jouzen turned around and continued to walk again.

[Jouzen] Wonder what that was all about. His guy tried me first...oh well.

A little while later

Jouzen made it out of the forest and back to this area with a large minka and a fountain located outside of it. He sensed the area around him and began to walk forward again.

[Jouzen] I've finally made it back.

As Jouzen walked through the door, three other men were sitting down conversating. One of them had the same attire as Jouzen, short hair, and a beard(Ryou). The other had a cloak on and on the back it read,"head of the strongest". This man seemed to be the leader and he had a bowl cut with a beard(Diji). The final person had long curly hair, a slight mustache, and he was lean. He didn't have a shirt on and wore these baggy sort of pants(Reina).

[Diji] So, you've finally made it Jouzen?

[Ryou] Took him long enough.

[Jouzen] *laughing awkwardly* Well, you see...I kind of got lost in this forest.

[Reina] *sigh* You're blind, if you can't see you shouldn't wander off so far.

[Jouzen] Hey, just because I can't see doesn't mean I can't go around on my own.

[Reina] Hmmf.

[Diji] It's good that you're here now, we have a lot to discuss.

[Jouzen] Actually, I have something to report.

[Diji] Hmm?

[Jouzen] I encountered a member of the black dragons.

[Diji] Another one?

[Jouzen] I guess they heard about what happened at the shrine the other day, and now they want our heads. The man was only a messenger but he said if we ever cross his territory then it would be our demise.
