Tatsumo and Kinoshiba stared each other down, Tatsumo with a smile on his face, Kinoshiba not faltering his gaze in the slightest. Following seconds later, four different individuals flashed behind Tatsumo, all with intense bloodlust. Yokeitanto Itamori, Misuke Itamori, Jeyna Minyoubu, and Yamachi Shinji.

[Kinoshiba] What a wonderful reunion I see?

[Yamachi] So, this is how the face of the devil looks like all these years. You never aged in the slightest, truly a demon.

[Yokeitanto] This is the man that murdered our organization in cold blood years ago and took Kotaro from us along with those two children.

[Kinoshiba] Hmm? So you still remember that?
[Jeyna] *enraged* You fucking scum...

[Misuke] You're the same man that caused havoc for me, my friends, students, and clan. I have a relentless grudge to kill you right here, bastard.

[Kinoshina] *laughing* Wonderfull, shall I kill you all here right now then?

Tatsumo extended his hand out, signaling for the ones behind him to all halt.

[Tatsumo] Yokei and Misuke, don't you both have something to be worrying about? Your goal currently isn't this demon...

[Misuke] Yokei and I are prepared, we're not blinded here.

[Tatsumo] We'll only get in each other's way if we fight like this here.

A group of men flashed behind Kinoshiba, all wielding katanas.

[Kinoshiba] Men, stay back.

[Tatsumo] And he has reinforcements, the only person I called here was Jeyna for a specific reason, all the rest of you can stay back.

[Yamachi] And what does a selfish brat like you have with a man like this? I may be old, but I am not foolish.

[Tatsumo] It's not about my grudge, or my revenge, right now at this moment I may be the only person who is able to stand up to this man correctly. If you don't believe me I'll show you.

Tatsumo turned around and looked Yamachi directly in the eyes, he did something that no one else could see with his hands and it shocked Yamachi. He then turned back around and looked at Kinoshiba, who was still standing there.

[Yamachi] You...All of you, retreat.

[Yokeitanto] What are you talking about?

[Yamachi] Yokei, the man standing in front of us is correct, we'd only get in his way.

[Misuke] So, it's that serious I see.
[Yamachi] That's correct.

[Tatsumo] You all need to be here to defend the city, or else it will fall, and Monkai could fall once again. Those men behind Kinoshiba are all of high ranking, meaning they could possess ancient curses and high level ningen. I assume only more are coming now that his energy has been known so Jeyna, you know what I need you here for so do you have everything prepared?

[Jeyna] Yes I do.

[Tatsumo] Good, do it now.

[Reyna] Understood.

Reyna held out his hand and a large barrier appeared around the area and both Tatsumo and Kinoshiba were warped into this large, wide, spacious area away from the cities. There were barely any trees, almost none, and mostly grassland with large mountains miles and miles away from where they were standing but they were so large that they could be seen from where they were standing.

[Kinoshiba] *laughing* So, was this some kind of setup? You knew I was coming, so why didn't you develop a team to beat me?

[Tatsumo] It's just as I said before, it would only get in my way and I wouldn't be able to use my abilities to my fullest potential.
