Kairo was strapped up to the chair again, a more durable one. He was strapped to it and he still had his blindfold on; he was shivering, not from cold, but from fear, and he was sweating and breathing heavily.
[Kyutaro] You know, ever since I first came in contact with you at Monkai, I've been manipulating you without you even realizing.
[Kairo] What d-do you mean?
[Kyutaro] Up until this point, before you and Muigetsu got into my hands, did you experience these nightmares with myself showing up, maybe even more?
[Kairo] How do you...how do you know about that?
[Kyutaro] That was my doing, I altered your mind at random times, all while monitoring your position and vitals.
[Kairo] That's not possible.
[Kyutaro] I may not be able to alter reality, but altering your mind while you're unconscious is an easy task. Everything you experienced in those dreams was influenced by me. How else do you think you were able to still see Kotaro while being unconscious or even able to know how to win that fight?
[Kairo] Wait a minute, you don't mean-
[Kyutaro] That's right, that was my doing. I watched that fight through your eyes Kairo, I saw everything go down. I always knew your position, I always knew what you were experiencing all the way up until now. And you know what I saw?
Kyutaro ripped off one of Kairo's fingernails, causing him to scream, before putting it aside in a tray next to him.
[Kyutaro] I thought for a second, especially during your fight against Kotaro and Rintatsuchi, that you were going to show some type of power greater than what you currently have, but I was wrong. You did display a more powerful form of Koseishi however, something that's non-comparable to that of a normal Yokokunishiba resident. You were able to break out of Kotaro's Kain, which is a feat only people like Tensou are able to obtain. That means during that fight that you two most likely awakened an even stronger form of Koseishi, but even that isn't that special at all.
Kyutaro ripped off another fingernail, Kairo screaming louder as blood dripped from his fingers.
[Kyutaro] Koseishi isn't anything special unless it comes from a purity like the Tensou clan, your Koseishi abilities are way more relaxed and rely on your bodily strength and endurance. What a waste of power at that point, that will never get you anywhere. So, I was hoping to see more of you considering that you are a relative of Jouzen, but I didn't see anything, even now.
Another fingernail was ripped off of Kairo's next finger in line, making him jerk violently, unable to suppress his voice. Kyutaro then removed his blindfold and looked him directly in his teary eyes.
[Kyutaro] I've tried everything I possibly could, gathered all the information I could, yet nothing. So it really pisses me off as to how you even got this far, or as to why that fucking man didn't just get rid of you from the start. Was he really that afraid? Or was he just too cocky in his own ability?
[Kairo] Why...why didn't you join in to help sooner, why didn't you come then?
Kyutaro proceeded to rip off another fingernail, getting another reaction out of Kairo.
[Kyutaro] *chuckling* Because I simply didn't care enough. I could care less if Kotaro, Rinatsuchi, or even my own sister died. I wanted to see what you had in store, if I would've joined the fight any sooner, you two would've died before I got to see anything.
[Kairo] Then why did you help me?! Why did you help me win?!
[Kyutaro] I don't know, I just wanted to. I didn't want Kotaro to kill you guys so easily, especially since you're so ignorant on your own. You needed some guidance, that way you could actually use your power. Maybe I'd see something that way, but I didn't, nor did I even now, and you're starting to bore me, so quit talking already.
